Ishbia doesn’t own the team yet, so while it makes sense for you to give credit for the current team’s success to Jerry, Getz, Venable, and Janish, Ishbia shouldn’t be dumped on for things out of his control at this point. Also, it took three years of losing with 100+ loss seasons to build this 2 games over .500 team.

Hicks is absolutely terrible but the trade is looking good now. The Sox can afford a guy like Hicks, but they can’t afford a young starter with the potential of Sandlin. Still, it is just one start and he did look like he may have some control issues in the minors.
