    DeJong swinging even a $1.75 million dollar deal was a coup by his agent. He was only worth a spring invite and a minor league deal.

    Agreed, and he actually hit well in the minors. He really hasn’t had all that many at bats in the majors and he’s 27.

    The Giants designated Joey Bart for assignment. Claim him and cut Maldonado. He hasn’t hit in the majors as expected but at least he’s not 45 years old.

    Good point. And I’m sure we will see him intentionally walked more and more as teams realize that Eloy will hit into some tailor made DP’s.
