Riordan thinks he’s the greatest radio producer of all time because he brings in some “notable” guests on the show. It’s usually some B-level actor like Michael Rapaport. ? The irony is that most of the sports radio personalities all worked the very same radio producer job before they made it on air. It’s not even a very high paying job, but they have to work their way up doing it to get on air. Elias is in love with his prospects and isn’t paying that much for 1.5 years of a starter without much of a history of success and an erratic reliever. Also, both Norby and Beavers would likely be in our top 5 or 6 after Quero, not the back end of our top 10. Ultimately, I think when we see the actual return for Fedde and Kopech, we are going to wish it was Norby and Beavers.

I like how you act like it’s a surprise that the Cubs or any other team would likely have better farm system coaches and instructors than the Sox.
