  1. I’m starting to think the Sox should go to a six man rotation. It seems like both Crochet and Flexen could pitch better with extra rest. This is a lost season. Try to build up the value for all of these guys, even if its for a flier prospect at the deadline. Wins and losses don’t matter.
  2. Things are looking good with Crochet, Ramos, etc., and then you realize you have that annoying wart (Benintendi) that isn’t going away anytime soon. Man, next offseason would be looking so good with Moncada and Eloy gone, but then we still have that albatross.
  3. Yep, no way you can do that. The damage was already done with Crochet between the mismanagement of his role, his own injuries, and lack of many years of control left as a result of the former. Your best bet is selling him high in the offseason, if he puts up a nice year.
  4. Former MLB infielder, Little League World Series star Sean Burroughs dies at 43
  5. That payroll looks too high for even that team, lol.
  6. Excited about Fletcher?
  7. That’s more like a trench. Perhaps an impact crater?
  8. Yeah, I’m an Uber Eats driver with a six digit salary.
  9. I don’t even know why this needs to be explained.
  10. Sounds like at least three other teams were going to pounce on punter Tory Taylor in the 4th round as well. https://sports.yahoo.com/tory-taylor-pick-leaves-teams-230848864.html
  11. It was either a fake or it could be a ball from years after 1919 but with legitimate signatures from the Black Sox players.
  12. Not taking the bait, huh?
  13. Still hoping Benintendi retires out of embarrassment but there’s no way he leaves all that money on the table.
  14. Maybe they need to call Colás up since he is sucking? Whenever they call up a player that is on fire in the minors, the guy struggles.
  15. Definitely not the norm. Sosa is probably looking to sell his soul to the devil to have a start like this if he ever gets another chance.
  16. Getz surely knew that a guy with a .572 OPS in AA would look good so far in the majors. This was still just a panic move that Getz made that turned into gold so far.
  17. I thought we were talking about the big league team here. Thorpe’s awful start was a bit ironically humorous because he was great all ST and everyone was expecting him to make the opening day roster and then he got absolutely lit up by the Guardians. But no, that one ST start didn’t make me think he was a bust prospect or anything like that.
  18. Okay, what are the positives that I have missed for the Sox? Wilson has looked good. I did like his inclusion in the Cease trade from the start. I didn’t think Fedde would have been as good as he has so far. Not sure who else I have missed. Sheets had a hot start but is cratering as fast as you say Cowser is. Sorry, not a Sheets believer. Not buying him being good at all. The negatives have outweighed the positives for the Sox.
  19. 2 hits in 34 at bats. Was it Robin Ventura who had a terrible start to his rookie season? But he is only 20. I’m sure he will pan out eventually.
  20. Sorry, I should have said Orioles prospects. I never liked Hall. I guess they were smart afterall to never offer Getz Cowser for Cease.
  21. You must not have read my previous posts. I said I was never a fan of Hall. The Orioles hyped up a mediocre reliever as a potential starter.
  22. I’m not defending it. I’m glad the Sox didn’t make that trade. I was just surprised at how well some of the Orioles young players are doing, including a guy like Ortiz that they traded away.
  23. Apparently, Getz needs to find more utility players with an .849 OPS. He couldn’t find one player this offseason that could do that.
  24. I think the Sox were way too aggressive with Crochet’s innings of work right from the start of this season. Not sure how that relates to Eder. You seem to be making the assumption that Eder will be ready for the majors in a year.
