  1. Romo is on the Taxi Squad
  2. I hope Teel is in the starting lineup tonight.
  3. Teel's bat is the weapon our catching has been lacking all year.
  4. Steve Stone was on the radio this morning and he mentioned if the Sox could tinker with Castillo's arm slot. I agree with you about trying an opener. If they can't get him right, then come up with some fictious injury and sit him down.
  5. OMG , I hope it's not that bad☹️
  6. I drove up to Minneapolis through a snow blizzard to attend the Hormel Foods Baseball Classic on March 1, 2002, at the Hubert H Humphrey Metrodome. The teams were Minnesota, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida Atlantic. The whole time I was white knuckling it on I-94 I knew there was going to be baseball when I got there. That was the only thing that validated the HHH Metrodome.
  7. Buxton and Joe Ryan are still on the IL. Sox beatdown begins Friday night through Sunday night, Mune and the boys bring out the lumber. Monday will be a day of rest.
  8. Magic Wand Night! Sox start kicking butts and taking names, it's Friday Night at the Rate.
  9. It will be interesting to see how he is used in 2028 either as a starter or relief.
  10. I agree the open-air ball parks are the best. But if we had the terrible summers of Az, Texas, and Florida sign me up for a dome.
  11. Martin looked excellent and if he can pitch like that the rest of the season, it will take care of some the pitching issues. The Sox couldn't touch Wesneski's sweeper. That was by far the best sweeper I have seen go up against the Sox all year. Braden smokes a line drive that Altuve leaps up and catches, then Altuve drops Chase's liner and gets a double play. Sometimes it just isn't your night.
  12. Sounds good as long as Teel doesn't get reinjurned.
  13. We will have to see how this all plays out, by sending Romo down they still have his rights and can call him back up. Sending Rogers down risks another team picks him up. With the pitching, especially relievers there could be a revolving door with call ups and players sent down until the playoffs. Once the playoffs start teams are back to a 26 man roster.
  14. I was watching the Sox Machine podcast this morning with Jim Margulis and Josh Nelson. They discussed that since the Sox signed Tommy Phan the Sox will most likely go with only 2 catchers. Jim said Rogers is out of options, but Romo still has options, so he believes Romo goes down when Teel is brought up.
  15. I possible late 2027 season call up?
  16. He has been struggling with injuries all year. I thought I heard he hit 98mph in a one inning relief role in Charlotte. That will work.
  17. Another good game by Colson, I am digging it. Mune is at least walking, he should be snapping out of it real soon.
  18. Young hungry talented players pulling for each other to succeed, mix in a couple of veterans, and a manager they will run through a wall for is what we are watching. Other players in the league have seen it and commented on what the Sox got going.
  19. Colson 2 hits (HR) 2 BB Muni 3 BB Niagara Falls, slowly I turn, step by step, inch by inch
  20. I am happy the Bears signed Caden Barnett to their practice squad. I don't know how good he is but the nickname "Vanilla Gorilla" is awesome.
  21. I am surprised with McDougal coming up. He has the stuff but couldn't find the plate last time he was up.
  22. I would keep all 3 to be safe, Teel has gone down to many times this season.
