Is “The 78” Dead? Or even more alive? Fire announce plans for SSS

If McCaskey moves the Bears to Indiana, I hope he sells Arlington Park to Ishbia and Justin can build a modern-day palace for the White Sox. -
I agree let's see what he can do, low risk. Veneable already said Schultz & Smith are not going north once camp breaks and could possibly be up later in the season. MLB minimum salary is $780,00 in 2026.

My better half spent over 30 years working with medical malpractice lawsuits and you are correct about the stuff people sue for.

Listening to the ping of the aluminum bat I am curious how much Roch has used wooden bats? -
Bowden will also be handing out Participation Trophies.

If you have never been to Spring Training, I would suggest going it's a good time. The one thing that was really expensive was renting a car so unless they have lowered the prices be prepared to get hit with all sorts of fees. Camelback Park is also a must see, you can roam around the complex before the game. I would suggest that you go to a Sox game at other parks, there are some beautiful parks that are worth seeing.

Could Hays and Benintendi be platooned in LF? Something has to give with Benintendi and Sosa, I wouldn't mind seeing both moved.

White Sox acquired RHPs Jordan Hicks and David Sandlin from BOS

I would like to see Grant Taylor get a shot at starting with all the new bullpen additions coming on board. -
I was at all the 2005-home playoff & WS games and loved every minute of it. I have heard Chris Berman's call, and it was unprofessional. He's the rube and probably viewed as one by people in the business.

I couldn't agree more, excellent article.

Roch, Bonemer, CMonty, BMonty, Carlson, and Acuna can flash the leather. -
More patches please

I googled Justin Ishbia's net worth and it's at approximately $5.4 billion. I do not know how accurate that is but let's go with it. Reinsdork is going to muck up the works for 3 more years? Let's take a conservative outlook on Ishbia's net worth with growth at 4% annually for 3 years, he would be north of $6 billion when Reinsdork walks away.

I am not expecting miracles, but it will be fun to watch the development,

I feel pretty good about 2026 knowing Josh Rojas is gone.

You could just about put together a team with his brother and 6 cousins.

Sox Machine mention of Acuna's bat speed got me to think about Colson's turnaround. Acuna does have some tools to work with.
-
The trade is cathartic, time to move on. I didn't have high expectations, but Acuna is fast, who knows he could be a fan favorite over time.

I became a lifelong White Sox fan because of Wilbur Wood, Bart Johnson, Terry Forster, Goose Gossage, Bill Melton, Carlos May, No Neck Walt Williams, and Ed Herrmann. RIP Wilbur
