  1. I hope MLB goes to full-time ABS; the home plate ump gets an instant ball or strike notice and makes the call.
  2. I like what Boston Smith has been doing but he has a total of 68 games in the minors. He has jumped up from A to AA and should be applauded but he will need time to develop behind the plate.
  3. If the Sox can keep stocking and developing the minors they can move those players like the Dodgers do to sustain the line up. Having to trade elite #1 starters like Sale and Crochet because the cupboard was bare was painful.
  4. Falstaff replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
X (formerly Twitter)Brian Labude 🐻‍❄️ (@Polar_Bear_Ball) on XChicago White Sox prospect James "Mount" Taussig continued showing off his power last night! 2-3, 2B, HR, 3 RBI 11 HR in 30 games at A+ 18 HR in 66 games for the season #WhiteSox
  5. Baltimore is on a 7-game win streak, so they are not sellers at this moment.
  6. Hopefully they didn't run into each other.
  7. If trading Gonzalez stings all I can say is get used to it because more prospects are going to get moved.
  8. Long live roch! I need it every night Long live roch! Come on and join the line Long live roch! Be it dead or alive
  9. I heard that the Sox don't want Lee handling the pitching staff. They must be onto something because he was DFAed and every team passed on him.
  10. After the game I watched Sean and Herb on CHGO and they were talking possible trade candidates. Sean mentioned Shane Bieber, he would be a rental and might be available if Toronto keeps losing. If the Sox pick up the money they could probably get him for a low level prospect.
  11. Jordan Hicks is on fire; last 5 appearances: 5.2 innings, 10 k's, 0 walks, 1 hit, 0 runs
  12. If the Cubs win their next 4 games, I will be a happy camper.
  13. You are correct, Sam is hands down faster.
  14. How about two more Gonzo HR's today and a Cub 5 game winning streak.
  15. Webb has 2 more years of control after this season. I don't know if SF is interested in trading, but they could demand a haul.
  16. The Sox might be able to flip one of the two, Baltimore just traded for a backup OF with KC. I agree that Grichuk is safe but Perez most likely get sent down.
  17. Was Kenny Williams still hanging around in the background in 2019? I always felt Rick Hahn was encumbered by Kenny.
  18. I am not an Acuna truther, just pointed out he had a split of 28 days.
  19. No doubt, but Gonzalez only stays on the 26 man is if Mune is still hurt.
  20. Can't blame West Eddy for that, Getz has been on a roll in 2026.
  21. I agree, thankfully he has been more productive with the bat lately because he was an automatic out. Unless he is part of a trade at the deadline I think he is here for the rest of the season. It will be interesting in 2027 if Roch gets called up, with Sam, Chase, and Acuna I think Acuna is odd man out.
  22. The Sox valued Acuna as a UT over Jacob Gonzaez. I project Acuna to stay in UT/ pinch runner role for the rest of the season.
  23. Would happen to have his fWAR for the last 28 days?
  24. Add Acuna to your pleasant surprise list. Splits, last 28 days, .400/.533/.933 with a +glove.
