Those are some incredible stats by Day. You can never have too much pitching. Hopefully he keeps it up. -
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 05:05 AM) YES! Everything's good now. Thanks. No problem, good to hear.

Comon O, bring out the lumber vs CC. Count, do your thing... and by that I mean throw some shutout ball. -
QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 08:52 PM) I paid for Shrink and downloaded Decryptor yesterday. I think I got it at download.com. Its been working so far. Ive only copied two movies. You paid for Shrink? DVD Shrink 3.2 is free. Unless you got a different program. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 01:33 AM) I have a problem, here. Earlier I downloaded DVD Shrink, Decryptor, and Ripit4Me. All three work together well. I printed a helpful guide for copying DVDs, and thus far, everyone is fine. I successfully downloaded the movie onto my harddrive. Question now is, how do I trasnfer the contents of the movie onto a DVD-R disc? Foolish of me to think it was easy as copying and pasting. Is there a program anyone knows offhand which can help me put everything onto a DVD disc? What you do is with shrink you make the backup as an ISO and then burn to a disc with decryptor.

QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 02:25 AM) here's tangible evidence - he's starting, brian isn't. get over it. Why should we just "get over it?" Ozzie's personal vendetta against Anderson is the reason Erstad is starting. Why? because Anderson was a little too confident that his struggles last year wouldn't last? Does one bad year make Anderson uncapable of producing? Hell even if Erstad and Anderson were to produce the equal amount of offense who is bound to improve? The young guy who has produced at every professional level he was placed in before the majors? No, the guy whose living off a career year? Not even a recent career year. 2000 was a long ass time ago. It's still early so I can see why Erstad hasn't been benched, but if he keeps sucking it up he needs to sit. He shouldn't be starting in the first place. -
KW letting Ozzie run the team how he wants to is okay...but when you see that he isn't putting the sox in the best position to win he has to step in. Ozzie is too god damn stubborn to learn from his mistakes.

Ozzie has a big grudge against Anderson. I mean he's always talking about his bench getting consistent AB's and playing time...Timo, Mack, Cintron, but not Anderson? Can management (KENNY f***ING WILLIAMS) be that blind to see Anderson is one of the only guys not getting playing time like he usually gives his backups? Not to mention Mack in CF last season... How long will this grinder s*** with Erstad starting CF last? -

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 10:07 PM) In the middle of the game, Juan took his time on a soft one hopper and then hesitated, before barely throwing out the runner at second on the good catch by Gooch. In the ninth, with men on 1st and 2nd and nobody out, there was a ball hit right to Uribe, easy DP ball. But he threw it wildly and Gooch made an awesome play to stop it from going to right field and getting the out at second. That coulda been a really bad spot, but thankfully Jenks dominated the next two hitters. Unfortunately he is charged with a run because of Uribe's D, but I'd say that he WAY more than made up for it with his O. Thanks for the info. Jauny is impressive with his bat these days. Hope he keeps it up. -
Roy Halladay with a 10 inning gem vs the Kitties. Jays win 2-1. This should probably be in AL Central Thread...

Oh and it feels good sticking it to them on their opening day. I wasn't able to catch the whole game can someone fill me in on Uribe's defense that I keep reading about? -

What a gutsy performance by our pitching and hitting when we needed it. Jenks is worrying me, but at least he gets the job done. What a start by Javy. I will wait for some more starts before I say he's turned it around. -

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 05:31 PM) Hahahaha. Oh yes, I wish we had him instead of Ozzie, please!!!!!!! When will the stupidity stop? On a sane note. Zambrano said in the postgame that a more experienced CF'er would have gotten to those balls that dropped. Way to already call out your prized FA signing. Comon Rock, you can't honestly defend ozzie on the decisions they are referring to. -
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 05:11 PM) I do remember DJ suggesting Konerko was hit in his "kibbles and bits." Earlier in the game was this classic quote, as well: "Oh, here comes the rain; better bring the tarp out. Oh wait, they don't have one -- it's a dome. Nimrods." LOL! I remember that. Hawk was going nuts! "What a bunch of Nimrods!"

Payback for last night. I was so pissed off last night... It still sucks we could have had a sweep, but hey, it could have been worse. Great job by the pitching and the timely hitting. It would be nice if our hitting would be a little more consistent. -
Alright!! Very good job to Count for sticking it out on a rough day. Great job by Pods, gotta give him his props! Good job to the relievers for keeping them down. YYYYES!!!

Would you be happy with 1 of 3?
Whitewashed in '05 replied to JUSTgottaBELIEVE's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE(JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Apr 9, 2007 -> 09:03 PM) ask anyone what games are most important and they will tell you divisional games, take care of business in your own division and you have a GREAT chance of making the playoffs sorry if you dont buy that argument but thats the truth You could also tell anyone that divisions are not won in april, but can be lost and they would agree with you. The fact is we cannot be happy or even content with taking 1 out of 3. The goal is to win at least 2 out of 3 everytime. -
QUOTE(caulfield12 @ Apr 9, 2007 -> 07:53 PM) http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...cmcaax_biraax_1 4 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 0 K's is the line for Honel so far Terrero hit his 3rd homer and Vladimir Nunez has a shutout through 6 innings for Charlotte. I would say good not great. Shouldn't this be in the futuresox board?
