DA BEARS
That field goal by Bryant was really close, I thought it went in, but both officials agreed. That was a close one.

DA BEARS
Ogunleye is going to Pro Bowl, Brown might join him. Harris, Urlacher, Briggs, Vasher and Brown all have great shots as well.

Two song questions from NBA commercials
Thank Knight, unfortunately ITunes doesn't have it.

The bottom of the roster
El-Duque simply does not derserve to be in the rotation. He has shown he will get injured all the time and will have a couple ok starts, a solid one and a couple blow ups every five starts. B-Mac is better in all areas, and he doesn't take 5 hours to pitch.

Rangers/Caps longest shootout
That is one sick ass move.

Two song questions from NBA commercials
One song is on the NBA charity commercial where they show players helping with various charities like Read to Acheive and Hurricane Relief, etc. The song goes like this: "call on me and I'll be there for you and you'll be there for me" the second song is on ESPN and it's a 70's kind of funky song with no words on the commercial. It shows different players tells the match-ups for future broadcasts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Deadline for Konerko
Hopefully, the Sox get Thome to talk to Konerko to try and convince him to say. We need Kong and him and Thome back to back would be amazing.

Sox inquire about Joey Gathright & Aubrey Huff
Gathright is fast, but that is it offensively. He won't hit above .300 in the majors, no power, poor plate discipline (39 K, 10 BB in 203 at bats.) Jerry Owens is a gonna be a better player b/c of his plate discpline. We don't need guys with speed just for the sake of having speed.

KW news confrence / THOME TRADE OFFICIAL
It's probablt be Monday after Thome completes his physical tomorrow, I would assume he would wait till the Holiday Weekend is over.
-
Brian Anderson
Anderson can play any OF position, good range, great arm and a great team guy. IMO, his rookie line will be .265, 15 hr, 70 rbi, 111/58 K/BB.

White Sox acquire Jim Thome per ESPNnews
Steroids, no way for Thome, but at least we will get to hear Hawk say "he is country strong" many times now.

White Sox acquire Jim Thome per ESPNnews
My guess that the Sox try and get Tony Womack. He has the speed you want and can play 2b and OF if needed. I just think this is what might happen even thought I think Willie Harris is a better player at this point and could become a Chone Figgins type player.

White Sox acquire Jim Thome per ESPNnews
Haigwood and Gio were all shakey IMO. Gio was an injury risk and Haigwood had one great year. We already have 4 relatively young starters, so we could afford to trade some of the minor leaguers.

More Levine 'Rumors'
QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Nov 23, 2005 -> 05:19 AM) Quick question to the Phillies organization (And I hope KW asked the same thing): Why the hell would we trade away the 2nd best defensive CF (Rowand) in the game and the arguably one of the best pitchers in baseball (Contreras) for an ageing slugger with a ridiculous contract? What a joke. I would counter that offer with Joe Borchard and Baj deal. But nobody from out champion roster. Believe me we are much better off w/o Thome then to lose Rowand, BMac, or Contreras. Might as well just re-sign Thomas and hope he stays healthy. So screw off Philly- go try and rip some other team off. Teams are always asking for more than they will get initially, it's just negotiations. KW will not trade one of the top 5 starters.

Ichiro!
KW will "inquire" about nearly everyone, it's just in his nature to be agressive like that and who can't love it?

world series payoff
That is a s*** load amount of money.

Ryan an option as Indians decide on closer
once he realizes how bad a city Cleveland is he will choose not to sign.

More disrespect from ESPN
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Nov 22, 2005 -> 05:13 PM) Who needs Thome and Shilling... We've got Haigwood. Is that really Dan?

Rowand's 'perfect life' may be changing
I don't think anyone wants to trade A-Row, but let's face it, he is expendable.
