The Midwest Bracket (St. Louis)
This is the most boring game of the tournament.

The South Bracket (San Antonio)
Wow, you're probably the first person I've found that doesn't appreciate Gus Johnson.

Here's to you, Juan Uribe
No one's got better sideburns on this team.

As the Season Nears...
Good stuff; I'm unsure on how the starting pitching and bullpen will look going into the season. However, I agree with you 100% on left field. I wish it were Erstad in left w/ BA in center.

The newest Soxtalk addition
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 23, 2007 -> 03:33 AM) If she doesn't know that this offense sucks because they try to pull that pitch on the outer half of the plate into the LF stands every time they go up to bat, I'm going to be very disappointed. Congrats man, great to hear all is well! Congrats SSI71; glad to hear all is well.

Daylight Savings time and Soxtalk
Hm...I haven't noticed anything weird over here. And I'm in Indiana (where we change clocks now wooo).

The Official [SCRUBS] Thread
That'd be an insane twist, if she doesn't, and someone else still dies later on in the season. BL said someone that's been on the show all six years would die this season. I successfully avoided temptation to find out who it would be until it aired. However, you could argue there was some foreshadowing earlier, like when she was flying around w/ those stripper's angel wings in JD's fantasy a couple episodes back. However, we'll see in 2 weeks when part two airs.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 9, 2006 -> 02:53 AM) I don't even want to know until it happens, but my guess is someone like Laverne.

The West Bracket (San Jose)
I'll save Rowand the effort, he wants you to all know that he is incredibly nervous--just as he was against Louisiana Tech, Central Michigan, and Saint Mary's.

Papelbon back as closer
I think everyone has Balta on ignore.

Tubby new coach of gophers

That's great and all, but Thomas can't come to IU until another scholarship is open, which there aren't at this time. The only way a scholarship opens up is if DJ goes pro (I'm hoping not), or someone transfers. There's been rumors about a couple of players during the season, but doesn't that happen everywhere? So I don't think this is completely official yet.

Alford to New Mexico?
Going to the Mountain West is a huge step backwards. Stay at Iowa until you get fired; they're going to have to pay your entire contract either way. It's not like he won't be able to get a job at a school like New Mexico at a different time.

The Midwest Bracket (St. Louis)
QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Mar 20, 2007 -> 05:58 PM) U would hope I didnt mean Xavier moreso than the your first question with the Buckeyes?? I didnt, but plenty of the media and "experts" that are bashing the hell out of the Big Ten right now sure didnt think Xavier was too worthy when the brackets came out. Go ahead and ask Jay Bilas, Andy Katz, or Clark Kellogg (a big ten guy) what they think of the Muskateers. You originally asked where all the Big Ten bashing was coming from, and how it is justified....I guess it took me a couple posts to get across, but there you have it. It's just funny, because people called the Big Ten down all season. Then people bashed the conference for getting too many teams into the tourney. And after the weekend, people starting asking what's wrong with the Big Ten--why were they so down and disappointing in the tourney? It's just retarded, because these critics act like they never said what they did before hand.

The South Bracket (San Antonio)
Keep in mind the status of Chris Douglas-Roberts for Memphis; he's averaging 15.4 points for them and he suffered that sprained ankle. That doesn't sound like much, but that definitely hindered Reynolds of Virginia against Tennessee.

Terrible NCAA year?
You missed out big time if you watched something else other than the tourney on Saturday.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Mar 18, 2007 -> 07:46 PM) I picked Winthrop over Oregon, Washington State over Vandy, Wisconsin (who I had in the Final 4) over UNLV, Virginia over Tennessee, and Texas over USC...not a great day for me. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 18, 2007 -> 07:52 PM) I've got 7/8 and 4/4...Meh Same.

The Midwest Bracket (St. Louis)
Purdue did a great job making this a game, and they definitely proved they should have been in the tournament. However, they ran out of time, and killed themselves at the FT line like IU, allowing Florida to get back to the S16.

Today is the Day! (3-18 Thread)
QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Mar 18, 2007 -> 04:01 PM) Yahoo shows the game is on in SD, to bad it's not on some sort of FSN/CSN type channel. Their on "CH 4" whatever the hell that is.
