  1. this team is unreal, unreal... i mean they have pissed away this season already, and it's june 7
  2. WTF, how can people say the coaches/manager has zero blame in this?
  3. is Jenks hurt? Does Ozzie know just because a guy is your closer doesn't mean you can't use him in other situations??? I mean Bobby is just wasting away down there, he should be used in the 7/8/9 or when needed at this point
  4. it's too bad, that's all I can really say about this team
  5. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 09:49 AM) Don't blame her, blame the system. It's being reported that the offense for driving on a suspended license, which is why she was in there, in Cali IS less than a week in jail. In IL, 1st time DWLS is usually just fines and court supervision, if you majorly mess that up, then they talk about convicting so you lose your license. Jail time is not usually involved in IL with DWLS until multiple times. I'm not sure about CA or her driving record, but even for 1st time DUI in IL you get supervision classes and a fine. http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/06/07/p...lton/index.html looks like house arrest, and release was due to a medical condition
  6. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:30 PM) 4 more wins than the Royals. Thats our guys. wow
  7. this team really is a shame. It's just unreal, very dissapointing
  8. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:24 PM) All I will say is this. The only thing I really am upset about right now is that I just don't care. I look so forward to the baseball/Sox season during the off-season, my Spring Training trip is a blast, and get so hyped for the new season, and on June 6th, it already seems like it's over. As I watch this lifeless team, I just don't care. That just makes me sad. that's what I'm frustrated with, I was looking forward to them competing all summer, having meaningful games to watch, but they are quickly making that go away well, Prinz is fitting in well
  9. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:23 PM) He hasn't given up more than 3 runs in an outing since May 10th. thanks for that, OK, i'll give them a pass with Wang, but I think I'm still fuming about last night... what has his home/road splits been this year, I know last year he was lights out at home, but very hittable on the road
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:21 PM) That was the 2006 slogan. 2007 slogan will be "they just could never all be healthy at the same time". that argument defeats itself IMO. The Sox have had some injuries yes, but they have been spread out, and PK and Dye have been here the whole time
  11. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:20 PM) This keeps up....fire sale is right around the corner. KW won't do it, even after this I think they're still within spitting distance of WC, KW will want to prove he's right
  12. unreal... Hawk, DJ, Farmer and Singleton can talk up Wang all they want, fact is he came in with an ERA over 4.00, I'm so tired of struggling pitchers facing this offensive and magicly finding it
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:18 PM) It's getting to the point where I'm way too comfortable with us losing. I don't even think my blood pressure is high right now. i'm still frustrated as hell. The offense is ridiculous.
  14. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:16 PM) DJ trying to take some heat off the offense. Stating that our pitching should just buck it up, and pitch out of their minds and dont allow the other team to score. 4 runs a game we score. When was the last time 4 crossed the plate. that's ridiculous, the pitching is the ONLY reason this team is in any sort of position to be in the WC race, enough is enough, it's time for the offense to do SOMETHING
  15. QUOTE(minorsfan @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:15 PM) Yeah cause he hit a bomb to the second baseman!!!! it's a different situation with runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out than 2 outs runner at 1st. It changed the whole complexion of that inning
  16. Clemens must have been legit hurt. I mean if you're the NYY you wanted him to pitch against this offense, they do half the work for the pitchers
  17. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:11 PM) Wow, the Yankees are running into outs here. Silly. Yankees have not played good ball all year, the Sox offense is just so horrible right now, the team can't take advantage of it
  18. i imagine some of the offensive woes have to effect all the pitchers. I mean seriously, 2 runs and you're pushing your luck
  19. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:08 PM) I would accept a medicore offense at this point. mediocre offense and this team is easily in 2nd and nipping at CLEs heals
  20. unreal, this team has had so many potential quality innings this year squandered by boneheaded baserunning and swinging at 1st or 2nd pitches
  21. Great, Wang has thrown 68 pitches, so good job in working his count to get to that Yankees BP
  22. Did Wang really have a 4.12 ERA coming into this game?
  23. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:03 PM) Wow, more stupid coaching. I can't wait for this whole coaching staff to be fired. hey, reading here, the coaches have ZERO to do with this, it's all on the players
