I just looked at the standings for the first time in awhile, and I was shocked to see the Cards are only 6 out in the central. I think they've been outscored by around 100 runs, so it will be hard for them to have a push, but CHC and MIL are letting them walk back into this race.

Abercromie makes "Woods" but I think you can only get it on their website, that was my choice, but I switched to the Men's Dolce and Gabbana, and that is great. With both of them I get tons of compliments about how good I smell, and not just from dates, etc. just random people. I do a spray on the wrist and one on the neck. Seems to not be overpowering and it lasts

i am getting the feeling nothing will happen. To your next your projection, I think best case scenario for the Sox as far as Crede/Fields go is Crede is healthy, plays out his year at 3b and Fields is a good enough athlete to be competent in LF. That way they have a good bat in LF and more money to address the other positions. I'm torn on Jose. I think I am being blinded about how good he was for about a year stretch. More of me is leaning towards if a contender calls tuesday night and offers you next to nothing for him but will eat his whole contract, KW should pull the trigger. Again, it just gives them increased payroll flexability.

Was watching the Cubs game when they mentioned they traded for Jason Kendall (sp?) for the rest of that game and his first game Len Kasper was acting like they traded for Mike Piazza circa 1997. He basically asked the Cubs fans to ignore his horrible numbers from this year... then they pinch hit for him in the bottom of the 9th! Luckily for Cubs fans, Lou seems to know what he has.

This is why Boras is so good at getting top dollar. A-Rod hasn't even hit the open market and Boras is trying to set it

Great news to hear. Maybe MB ends up being terrible and not living up to even this discounted contract, but IMO this is a move the Sox had to make. They are likely getting a HUGE discount from MB, in this day and age in baseball you can't pass up an opportunity like this. Congrats MB and the Sox org, and as a fan, I want to than all of you.
