Man of Steel brought up some great points about the white ones. The one thing I was told to look out for was hip dysplasia. I have never had a pup have this problem, but I believe it is one of the major concerns with Boxers. Before buying from a breeder ask them if they test their boxers for hip dysplasia.

In my estimation we are still 10 mill ahead of the game and that is without uping last years payroll. I am sure we would be able to get either RJ or Pavano.

Steff, I have had Boxer pups all my life. They are the best dogs in the world and are wonderful with children. If you never had one then be prepared to fall in love with this breed. They are absolutely awesome and they never seem to get old. They always keep that puppy mentallity. I wish I could help you with your breeder info, however I don't know of any. Good luck Steff!

In all seriousness I don't look at that trade as that bad. Yes, we gave up a lot in what we got, but what did we really give up? Kipper has not been all that great. Fogg only had a decent half of a year and Lowe was just awful and I don't believe he is even in the league anymore. Yes we gave up way too much for Ritchie just because it was 3 for 1. Any three players for Ritchie is too much and would be a bad trade. However, to call this the worst trade in Sox history is going a bit far. I am sure there are trades that turned out a lot worse than this one. I can see any of these pitchers became a star or something, but come on! One trade that comes to mind is when Hawk sent Bobby Bonilla to Pittsburgh for Jose DeLeon,. What is it with the Pirates and the Sox? I would do the Kendall for Konerko deal if we have to pay all of Kendall's salary or not. We just don't need another power hitter. We need guys to get on base. We need guys that are smart and that can run the bases and play defense. Is Paulie that guy? Kendall definately is. He just fits our team better and if we have the money I see nothing wrong with spending it on him.

You don't think that adding Vizquel and Kendall is a way to upgrade your pitching staff? You don't have to look any further than the Cardinals to see what up the middle defense can do for your pitching staff. These two moves also gives Ozzie damn smart heads up baseball players that adds instant veteran leadership to a team that desperately needs that.

I don't know if any of you were listening today but Bruce Levine reported that there are talks between the White Sox and Pirates. The Pirates would give up Jason Kendall straight up for Paulie. Would you guys do that? I think I would! Good defensive catcher, good OBP, can run the bases exceptionally well for a catcher and is considered one of the smartest players in baseball. Granted we would be trading away 40HRs for 4HRs, but I think we are getting an all around better player for what is basically a slow, slugging, DH type player. I think it makes sense for the type of team Ozzie wants. Omar Vizquel, Jason Kendall, and Juan Uribe gives us a very strong up the middle defensive team. I am not counting out Aaron Rowand as a CF, but from what I can tell, they want him to play RF. Maybe I am reading too much into their interest in Carlos Beltran, but I think they like Rowands defense and arm in RF and his bat is definately good enough for a corner OF position. Then again talking about Rowand is a whole different subject all together. What do you guys think of the Konerko for Kendall trade? Would you do it?

Exactly we should be trying to seperate religion from government, not combining them. I am not for abortion unless it is in certain circumstances, however I am not going to impose my beliefs on someone else that does not have the same beliefs as I do. Just because I don't believe in forcing others to belive the way I do or to push my moral values on others does not mean that I am not moral myself. The same can be said for Kerry. He is pro choice, not pro abortion.

It is a great deal depending on your situation. There are many type of interest only loans though. If you are planning on making more money 10 or 15 years down the line then this is good for you. It will cut your payments nearly in half for the first 10-15 years, however after that it will be significantly more. I like it, especially the way Steff used it, for investment. Property never goes down. If you can afford the down payment at the current interest rates you would be doing a very good thing.
