That was awesome. Bradley was absolutely worthless and they still won. With Vuc they win that by 20 and I thought the refs were trash too tonight. That said - first time my son has ever seen the Bulls win in person and first time I have in a while. Loved it!

Was awesome. Beat Jamaica and I’ll be feeling a lot better in terms of positioNing.
-
Haha I came to post the same thing. Seems like a fun game to have been at though Tex!
-
Zero depth at the front court right now. It is what it is. Get back quick Vuc.
-
This - lets be realistic. Vaughn might get better and he was somewhat passable in left but that was relative to Eloy who was horrendous and our base line expectations for Vaughn which were very bad. The reality is he has still literally played 1 year of outfield in basically his career (or at least that was my impression) so it is a pretty big gap for him to evolve more than that. I get it if a SS moves to CF or OF and becomes a stud in time...because their pure athleticism, etc...but Vaughn will never be more than serviceable at best (and there is nothing wrong with that either).

Echo this - thank you all for your service!!!

Evidently it is 10 days or 2 negative tests. I think the Bulls just said 10 days to play it safe but it could change. I assume he actually has symptoms so that is why everyone is assuming 10 days.

Yeah they have some hard teams coming up. Warriors, Clippers, Lakers, and Nuggets. Plus Blazers somewhere in there.
-
Figures - let me guess - someone else will get added too just in time for when I get to watch them live. I am a curse. In all seriousness hope Vuc gets better fast

Another fantastic and fun game. Loved seeing Vuc olay big and use his post game later in 4th. Lavine, Caruso and Ball were crazy good tonight. I liked how Ball went in the paint. I hope with time Ball will learn a bit on how to improve his inside game from Demar and Lavine.

A total stud. Love Hendricks!

This - I probably rippped on White more than any person on this board for the past 2 years. But he still scored 15 PPG last year while trying to learn a new position on the fly on a highly flawed roster. I thought that had negative impact on his ability to play comfortably but on the current Bulls I think I see a much better fit as a 6th man microwave type option and I still believe he should be capable of being a solid defender (he showed it early his rookie season before turning into a total train wreck).

I am not a huge Coby fan - not as a PG and what they tried. However, I do think off the bench he will be pretty solid and unfortunately he didn't have an off-season due to his injury so will be interesting to see.

Just got my tix to the Bulls - Clippers game. Am excited and hoping to finally see a Bulls win in person. Will be there Sunday and Monday (once with family and once with work). Pretty damn excited.

He was cleared for practice yesterday. I'm guessing there are some rules of how you move players between squads to enable practicing (since he isn't technically a 2 way player)?
-
I like Conforto - but I think it is too much money for a player who is good, not great. The fit etc is not bad...I just prefer shorter term deals or saying screw it and signing Scherzer to something stupid for 2 years (not that he will take it).

I like this strategy.

I expect Pace will get promoted, they will than promote Champ (asst gm) to GM and will hire a new head coach. I could be wrong, but I don't see Pace getting fired. I think the McCaskey's think highly of him (even if we as fans don't) and I think they will give him a lot of credit for Fields (who is starting to flash). I think he gets to hire a new head coach. I think Phillips retains his title but no longer control over football decisions.
-
I am excited though - the cupboard is better than people give the Bears credit for. Glass half full - we have 2 legit running backs and I think the oline is significantly better than we think. It is young and if Borom can keep stacking games like this, I like our chances more. Jenkins has real upside so hopefully he can also pan out. Big ifs but Kmet has put together a few straight good games with this being a very strong game (both receiving and he's a very good blocker). Mooney is Mooney - which is a solid wideout. Fields showed real development the past 2 weeks and I noticed he started to bring out different clubs on his deep ball tonight. Shows me how quick he is to adjust. I also saw quite a few passes which were multiple read plays. This was a good defense on the road and he had a TD and a number of solid plays taken off the board from penalties. And this is with Nagy - who clearly has not figured out any way to run a decent offense since becoming HC, so take those skill players and combine them with a better OC and this offense is basically an upgraded WR corps away from having some pretty good talent (and young talent at that). The team will have cap space and while the defense is aging...right now I just want a good offense...than I'll worry about having a defense.
-
100% on the coaching. But you know what - Justin Fields, on the road, not a perfect game by any stretch, but back to back weeks of real progress and that was a pretty good 2nd half from a young kid, down on the road.
-
This - I looked at my wife and said Santos is okay (in the sense he is accurate) but he is beyond worthless past about 50 yards (no leg strenght). I mean can he even hit a 66 yarder in practice? You had to take a shot at a hail mary there.
-
Except it wasn't a penalty. The only team committing penalties on that series was the Steelers - but no, the Bears got called. Cost them the game.
-
This - but despite all that craziness - Justin Fields had a coming out party on the road tonight. They loss - they had a TD taken away on a horrid penalty, the team was dysfunctional around him and he still made a ton of plays, including 2nd and 3rd read type plays on the road in a hostile environment after getting dug into a whole. I'll take it.

This. There are probably other reasons, but for a guy who has been a control, contact pitcher, his command went bad and I think going from something to nothing impacted him as much as anything. I'm less about spin rates and more about the impact it had on his command, etc. Reality is I think Keuchel bounces back and has a solid season next year (nothing crazy - but low to mid 4 ERA and serviceable innings, etc). He was just fine up until June 15th where everything exploded.

This is true - I think they could get a LF bat at 2B and RF...have Vaughn/Eloy/Sheets/Abreu share time in 3 spots. When people get injured, you still have 1 and if multiple are that is where Burger comes in (unless he has more value than I think on trade front). Play match-ups and give rest...there are still a lot of at bats to give to that group. I don't like going multi-year with Conforto but I do like his bat in the lineup. Put him and Frazier in the lineup and that isn't bad. Of course - you could dangle chips for Ketel Marte and that is one of those scenarios where I'm good moving some of our talent. Cause Marte is under control for 3 years and a damn good player.
