  1. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 11:34 AM) If the Steelers end up losing by a field goal or TD, Cowher will be ripped for that ball-less end of the first half. I agreed with the call. You have the lead and played a good 1st half. They go for it agressively and the Colts probably get the ball back and have a shot to make it even closer. On a sidenote, that was a smart ass penalty for the Colts cause if they didn't have that holding call on Randle El, they may have been down 21-3 going into the half.
  2. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 11:09 AM) ITS AN OFFENSE! Just thank Ferentz
  3. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 11:01 AM) wow, that was so pass interference. Seriously, he was tackled.
  4. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 10:43 AM) With their offense, yes. Seriously...everyone knows the Bears can't come from behind. The same can't be said for the Colts. They finally had an offense that looked like the Colts offense at the end of the half. Still tons of time left in this game.
  5. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 10:37 AM) If the Colts lose this game, will Peyton officially be a choker in big games? Way too early to bring this up. So much football left.
  6. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 09:52 AM) Indeedy. It's kinda weird, cause I now have to root for two Iowa guys every weekend in Clark and Sanders. And I love them both now. Thats what I like to hear. Didn't someone on ISU yesterday fumble in one of the games or something? I think it was maybe the guy who returned the kick for the Patriots at the end of the 1st half.
  7. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 08:28 AM) No Buehrle again? WTF? No Freddy, No Contreras, No Iguchi, No Uribe, No Crede, No Vazquez. I expected more out of this, especially coming off of a World Series win. ROFL....I know that was you who updated the thread. Hopefully the addition makes this a wortwhile Soxfest for ya
  8. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 04:29 AM) Neither do I, but then again the Angels do overrate Erstad's abilities. I suppose they want to stick with Carrasco as the 5th starter perhaps? Which is a brainless move. I'm gonna make sure I stay away from the park when he's pitching.
  9. Was that the guy who went to spring training a few times with the Cubs? On a sidenote, I'll stick with Gloadie.
  10. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 09:49 AM) I bet the Bears did f*** you a lot in your picks this year seeing as how you picked against them in every single game practically. Heads...I hope you picked Carolina today.
  11. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 10:16 PM) I won't be there, but I hope Steff is the first one to up for Kenny's standing ovation!!! Technically speaking, Steff gave Kenny some great praise last Soxfest. She was really pleased with the moves the Sox made. It was a warm and fuzzy moment
  12. I'm sure he was sore. He just pitched in back to back games. Sore doesn't equate to hurt when it comes to pitchers. They normally are quite sore after a start. Its if that soreness prolongs where you have issues.
  13. QUOTE(knightni @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:43 AM) You don't forget, but you never ask anybody to make one for him. I don't want to jinx anything yet.
  14. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 09:43 AM) I don't think people have the Colts on that pedestal you're thinking of. A lot of people have doubts, since they haven't played a meanable game in a month. The Steelers have been in playoff-mode since the Week 12 or so. The spread's at 9.5. I've been saying the Colts beat the spread, or they lose. Greasy, I just want to say thanks. I now know someone else can ocassionally create words like meanable. Your my hero I really just wanted to see what it felt like to correct someone else for a change
  15. DA BEARS I'm so excited this team has made it this far. No matter what happens today, I'm proud of this team and they are on the way to becoming a special team in the next few years
  16. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 09:24 AM) Chandler sucks ass but I think Sweetney just needs to lose some pounds and get in better shape. He looks gassed out there quite a bit. I like how he can get in position and he has nice moves, but my god, he misses so many easy shots. However, he doesn't cost us much money, unlike Tyson.
  17. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 07:03 PM) To clear the road for a Colts Super Bowl? I think a Broncos-Colts matchup would be fun....need to take car of Pitt first, of course. I still remember that ass-whooping the Colts laid on the Bronco's a couple years ago in the playoffs. Got to give the Bronco's credit. Patriots played very un Patriot like, but I'm gonna give that credit to the Bronco's defense. That said this game was much closer than the score cause New England was able to move the ball at will, they just couldn't hold onto it.

  19. QUOTE(Pierzynski 12 @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 07:07 PM) This is a message board not a school. You fail in both I'm sure.
  20. QUOTE(Pierzynski 12 @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 07:03 PM) If i find it funny that Iowa could only beat Penn St by 4 then so be it.......... Go pay attention to your Illini. Leave all Iowa bashing to Heads cause you don't deserve to bash Iowa, especially after a win.
  21. QUOTE(Pierzynski 12 @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 06:55 PM) Uh two people told me this already. :rolly Don't roll your eyes at me. Why don't you learn something about sports before you jump to conclusions and slam teams for winning.
  22. Just wanted to say that the Bulls played a very strong 1st quarter and well overall a strong 1st half only to take a total dump in the 2nd half. It kills how every freaking game the opponent is taking 20+ free throws more than the Bulls. It was a disgrace to lose to Indiana at home with O'Neal out. Hell they've had enough trouble winning with O'Neal there. On a sidenote, Sweetney and Chandler both f***ing BLOW. Sweetney misses wide open shot after wide open shot and Chandler has zero energy and looks totally lost. I don't care if he has all the potential in the world, we overpaid and if we could get anything of value for him because another team can utilize him better than we can, than I'd part ways with him. Its stupid to pay him what we are and I loved the way Tyson played last year, but the Bulls made a mistake, imo. I do agree to a fold that he's suffering from not having a center, but I'm sorry, a lack of a center isn't enough of a reason for him to play like total horses***. He's one of the most overpaid players in the game right now. Tim Thomas is #1 on that list.
  23. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 11:17 PM) I bet you he won't remember if he doesn't happen across this thread. Heck, he'd still forget anyways. Are you kidding me. I never forget. I also owe Krush one.
  24. QUOTE(Pierzynski 12 @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 11:16 AM) Iowa could only beat Penn St by 4 Did we not whoop the Illini? A win is a win. Any road game is a challenge in the Big 10.
