Move those freaking chains. That has to be a 1st down. They only needed like an inch and it moved that far. -

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:34 PM) False start on the LG. It wasn't called. Therefor the Colts have to be offsides. They jumped like stupid idiots when no flag was blown. At that point its there own damn fault and it should be a flag. Its alright..Big Ben is gonna Qb sneak this s*** for a 1st down. -

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:30 PM) I dont think Carson Palmer is overrated. That game ends totally different if he doesn't get his knee rolled on the 1st series. No, he was saying the Pac 10 doesn't develop QB's and I was saying Palmer is damn good and he ain't over-rated. John Elway (stanford). There have been some damn good signal callers to come out of the Pac 10. -

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:28 PM) I was pissed when the Bears took him. McClown was another bum ass overrated PAC 10 QB who made a lot of money by tearing up pathetic PAC 10 defenses. Oh, and let me reiterate what I said earlier. DALLAS CLARK IS THE MAN. Ya, Carson Palmer was over-rated too. Same with Brunell. Quite a few good pro's have came from the Pac 10, especially at the QB position. -

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:24 PM) The sad thing is, he was my favorite college qb at the time. He was mine. He was the freaking man at UCLA (the only team in LA that I like) and I was so excited when we drafted him. -

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:20 PM) Manning thinks he's the coach, well he'd be a darn good coach after he retires. He's a stupid son of a b****. But people love him for stupid s*** like this. No one is going to tell me that if TO did this, they wouldn't yell and complain and call him selfish, but since its Peyton its no biggie. f***ING JACKASS. I hate him infinite times more than TO. -

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:17 PM) Tom Brady > Peyton Manning. Thats the bottom line. Brady is my favorite Qb in the league. He took that title from Brett Favre and before that it was Elway. Bears have had s*** for me to root for at my favorite position in the NFL. -

QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:04 PM) What are the official rules there? The announcer was saying Manning's feet were outside the goal line when he was tackled. It's not where the ball is? It is where the ball is. -

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 11:56 AM) Colts cant seem to stop the Steelers ground attack. This could be huge cause if the Steelers can start dominating on the ground, they can keep their defense fresh while keeping the Colts off the field. Ben just took a shot though. -

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 11:47 AM) lol yeah congrats. Sorry I announced it when you guys could've but I just looked and saw we were getting close. Are you kidding me. I'm glad you pointed it out. I never notice stuff like this. Hence the fact I've had some strange things in my member title area before (you can also thank, Heads, Greasy and Boz for that). I get a kick out of the name though, but Heads and all of you guys deserve the credit.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 11:43 AM) The Colts wouldn't have had enough time to do anything with the ball. The Steelers had a 1st down with under a minute left. The Colts also get the ball to start the second half. You can't play that conservatively against the best offense in the NFL. Whoa. I'm talking about they strated the drive conservative running the ball. There was like 1:20 and there would have been plenty of time. Had Pitt just thrown the ball they could have went 3 and out with maybe one pass completed. That means Indy would have 2 Timeouts and probably a minute left. And thats plenty of time for Indy. Thats why I have no problem with what Cowher did. Your going to the locker room with the momentum knowing your up on the Steelers. You don't want to ruin that, imo. However, he'd be a genius had they drove down and scored more, but I guarantee you had they went 3 and out and the colts got the ball back and scored, people would be pointing the blame at him yet again. We'll see what they do in the 2nd half ,cause I think they need to be agressive, but at the same time they need to do what they can to keep their offense out on the field and the Colts off it. -
QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 10:48 AM) That should go down as the worst game of Tyson's career when all is said and done. I tend not to look at current results and just stick with my assessment of his tools and what he could accomplish in the future. But there's no doubt that Chandler backers aren't too happy right now. I'm not going to abandon him, but I should probably stop defending him for the time being. I was at a bar last night, and some dude was talking all kinds of s*** about Tyson. Of course, I kept my mouth shut, and I should probably do likewise on here. I don't want to be the only guy in Chicago defending Tyson, basically. I need some dudes on my side, but as Hawk would say, they gone. Here's the thing. At some point or another, production is what matters. Its the end result. Talent only takes you to a certain point. Hell, as much as I slam Ben Gordon, he hasn't been bad as a starter and for the most part seems to be more agressive going to the basket (about the only guy on the team willing to consistently drive). He did not have a strong 2nd half though, but he's made some big time strides compared to when I was really slamming him earlier in the year. Would love Paul Pierce though...but I'm sure thats not going to happen.
