  1. I legitimately think in this case - it is the great unifier in the clubhouse right now (as sad as that sounds).
  2. This - it feels like the movie major league - in this case - you can replace the owner with the manager. Feels like the team is basically like - we got this and we will crush it regardless of what he does to sabotage this.
  3. What an awesome video. Proof that there is a "clutch" gene and hearing Hawk...oh man, the true GOAT. Can't wait to see videos 15 years from this squad and thinking back to the ring(s) they won!!!!
  4. I don’t get it - if he took it and it was a ball wouldn’t they be complaining why isn’t he swinging so the game could move on. Ridiculous anger over swinging 3-0.
  5. Right now I feel like the Bulls are like literally the worst team in the NBA. The franchise boxed them into a corner when the traded WCJ + those picks for a player who doesn't put them over the top. Really not happy with where the franchise is, like at all. That could change if some young players take big steps forward, but Vuc is a good player, but not an elite player and he has some of the same flaws Lavine does (in terms of the defensive side of the ball). Really not convinced this front office has it down but hopefully everyone proves me wrong.
  6. I think some baseball teams are doing vaccinated sections.
  7. I just don't understand how administratively they handle this. Do I really need to carry my card - are people really going to "check ids" and confirm the card. Just seems like - either say we are ready to open up or just come up with guidelines that you can live with, without all the extra compliance.
  8. Haha - you are like me. I'm one of those people that isn't very interested in having a conversation when my hair is getting cut. Part is probably because at heart I'm an introvert - but for my job I am talking all day every day, so when I'm not working, I very much need my quiet time to re-energize, etc.
  9. Just throwing this out there - but if Sox signed another starter - we don't know if Rodon would be here.
  10. Hell yeah - pitching wasn’t so hot but bats were en fuego. Hendricks - keep using that slider and you will be a-ok. Change the eyes a bit and with that heater…yes please!
  11. It’s good he has shown a few more. He needs to.
  12. It will be so weird when my son starts posting on here haha.
  13. Amazing - here's to another 4 million posts and a few more world series champsionship celebrations!!!

This has to be the worse combined line I have every seen….at a professional level.
  15. For a full season - it would seem they would have to solve the public transportation challenge. That said - MLB would benefit from the fact that you would likely have a smaller stadium with less capacity (so that is a benefit in terms of traffic/parking load). But if you are doing baseball, 81 games - you have to make it convenient.
  16. I get it - as Tebow the person - but don't you think as a player - you wonder what are we doing here. Kind of like - is Meyer just going to go to his guys type of deal. Not that I suspect Tebow is going to get some special treatment in the actual lockeroom - he probably is there for exactly what you say - I just feel like in the sense of just practice reps - you could find a whole lot of Undrafted TE's and others who probably have a better shot at making a dent on the roster vs. Tebow. That said - would those players make a dent in terms of character / work ethic - no idea. But I don't really see how or why if I was a good NFL player that I would really pay any attention to Tebow other than a potential rolling of the eyes at it (not knocking him as a college player - but he's been out of the league a really long time). Its a bummer - cause this would have been the right route for him early in his career.
  17. Man - a 33 year old Tebow getting a lifeline from the Jags. No way will it pan out. At 25 - interesting, but the guy is 33 and while I get that he's taken care of his body and in the NFL you can always dump guys...but man - giving even limited snaps to a 33 year old who has never played the position seems like a not so great use of your limited training camp reps. What do I know - Tebow was an all time GOAT in college so would be an amazing story if it did pan out.
  18. So - I just want to say - I am still so fired up for Fields. But the last time I feel like a team got this much love for a draft pick, I vaguely recall the Packers drafting Rodgers as getting pretty hyped (to the good) and than I also recall the Browns trading back up and getting Brady Quinn being a move people loved at the time that well...didn't go so hot. But man - this is a guy that kicked butt at the highest level, dealt with all the expectations that come with playing for OSU, and always delivered. Lots of experience playing, fantastic athlete. Feels so much like Deshaun Watson and others where people see too much of a guy they over fixate themselves on the negatives. Man - please let this be the Bears finally finding that franchise guy!!!
  19. Yeah - it seems like the coaches might have been more puzzled on why the double switch for Hendricks vs. the fact that Hendricks is running? I mean I don't think it is crazy that an AL mgr doesn't know this rule - but the bench coach and staff, someone probably should. I still say this got way more attention than the stolen base call with Leury - which just was not a good call. That said - fact that the league made a big deal about this - I presume to each club (not just the NL clubs) - it would seem one of the Sox coaches should have been aware of this. I'm not going to lie - I tried to stay neutral on TLR - but it is looking more and more like he just isn't the right guy for this job.
  20. Best news I have heard in a while.
  21. Hard to believe it has already been 10 years in a deal that definitely didn't live up to any of the hype. Hopefully Albert can figure out a way in more limited at bats to go out more in style. Wonder if he retires or if he tries to latch on somewhere.
  22. I can’t believe he actually send Leary. Wow. I kept thinking it just of been Leury - literally just terrible. 3 singlehanded terrible decisions in the 10th. That said - JR isn’t fanning him - the only thing that could happen is if JR and Tony talk and just reach a decision that it is time quietly retire - but that probably doesn’t happen until end of the season. I honestly think the rule violation was behind the stolen base and not loading bases in bottom part of frame to better position everything for force outs. Want to know what his bench coach was doing though - on the rule issue. Can’t tell if his coaches knew or if they were just questioning the Liam item. I also can’t tell if it was the coaches questioning or was it players too.
  23. The worst part was - it wasn’t even the worse decision he made in the inning. He made so many bad ones.
  24. I agree - that is the way I think about it.
