I should add, I'm not trying to attack teachers, a good teacher is one of the most important things in a childs life. Unfortunately it seems with the not so fare pay they get, its getting harder and harder to find good teachers, at least in my high school (which was supposedly a good one).

Personally I say who gives a rats ass about someone trying to spread their personal opinion. Whats the difference between a church recommending a politican to its public and a teacher spewing out their s*** without other students being able to say something. Hell, whats the difference between someone outside telling you to end Bush's s*** or anything else. Its all freedom of speach. I disagree when a person of power tries to push its agenda on others, but still, to a point it happens and it happens from all sides. I don't wnat to hear this horses*** that both sides don't try to pull their base and they'll do whatever way possible to get it done. Christ, how come when I make a post, I'll almost always knock something I disagree with on the republican side (even though I'm a republican) but I'll also add some good points. Usualy I try to say things from both sides and I'll say in my opinion this outways the bad. It seems like some people think the republican party are these "evil doers" persay. Folks, I got a news flash, politicians have agendas and if they didn't they wouldn't be getting elected. They have to sell out because they need campaign funds to an extent and they have to do things for their voting base. Its the way a two party system works and it will continue to work that way until people get all special interest groups the hell out of politicans pockets. Since I don't see that cahnging, if people want to make a difference about it, go out and vote and spew out tons and tons of protests saying you want to change the way campaigns are financed and what not. I'm just sick of hearing or at least it seems Its that way all this crap that oooh the republicans are doing this or oooh look at those cheating crooks or whatever. It seems like their so many attacks, its freaking ridiculous. I've long said I wish their was a real republican in office, but I think the libertarian candidate is very weak as well. We all know my stance on Kerry, but in this election its whatever the lesser of the evil is I guess. But what the hell is wrong with a party trying to get their base motivated when both parties in fact do it

I think Maggs would already be playing by Herm and Ozzie don't want him to come back too early. Maggs is a tough SOB and I'm thinking he'll begin his rehab assignment right around the all star break and join the sox just after.

Oh ya, was also gonna add, Fields made an error but according to Alan York the announcer it was a pretty poor call. It was a line shot that Fields could of proably made but it would of been a tough play.

If he did come, it wouldn't be because the Bulls could offer the best package, unless of course the Lakers want to rebuild for a few years. However, the reason I could see the Lakers doing it with the Bulls is that they deal him out of conference to a team they may think won't be able to compete. They aren't going to want to put a competitor over teh top in a deal, however, a team thats down and nowhere they may not thikn Kobe would be able to win it all. Still, I don't think Kobe is going anywhere. He'll be a Laker (90% sure or a Clipper 5% sure). Which means their is 5% he goes elsewhere.

When Nach was drafted I think some of us projected him more as a top flight closer. One thing about him is that I hope his knees hold up, cause he has dynamite stuff. He was obviously just quite raw or something cause last year he was brutal. Still, just a year removed from high school.

Gload has looked pretty bad out in right, but then again, he's more of a left fielder (although I don't think their is much of a difference other then arm strenght in playing left and right). He is a good defensive first baseman though. I do remember Gload making a decent catch in center against the Indians.

Look at Scheiders splits and you'll be presently surprised that minus April, he's actually been a pretty good hitter and if I recall he hit about .290 in June. Of cousre the splits show my argument and who knows how good he really is, but he's supposed to have some offensive upside.

Righties struggle against Zambrono so its best to bring in a leftie like Gload, imo.

I'm starting to like the idea of Kendall more and more as long as Sox management is willing to take part of his contract and they aren't going to use that as an excuse not to resign some guys next year (lets be honest, I think resigning guys like Garcia and such are more important then having a catcher). However, he's really made great strides defensively this year, calls a good game, has good speed, and can flat out hit the ball and would be a great two hole hitter. He does what Jeremy Reed at his finest would do and from a more diffucult position to get production from. I say Kendall or Schneider (From Montreal). Schneider has been hitting the ball better every month, is still semi young (but gonna be arb eligible) and is a STUD defensively (Throws out about 45% of base stealers each year).

Screw Estrada, the amount that it would take to get him would be so un-worth it. The Braves are very high on Estrada and will not deal him unless they get Maggs or Konerko or some other everyday player...case closed. The White Sox just don't have the major leauge prospects that the Braves would want to make a deal. The Braves aren't going to make a deal for lower level prospects or anything along those lines, they'd want guys that can come in and help immediately. He is more "retooling" then rebuilding (Schueroltz). If the Sox want a catcher its gonna be Schneider, Zaun, or Kendall unless of course Maggs is part of a deal in which case I think its very likley you see the Sox get Estrada since they seem desperate to clear payroll (another thing Schueroltz has been told to do) which means they may just have to include a cheap good player in Estrada. However, like SSI mentions, he is absolutely awful defensively.

Well to say the least it didn't go near as planned. We worked for about 5 and a half hours on it and just kept running into problems. I turned the board back for the time being while Kap and I will have to regroup and try to figure out what exactly is wrong with the swap. Were both puzzled as to why this isn't working because were doing it the proper way, its just not taking for some reason. Anyway just wanted to give everyone an update. Unfortunately this means that we'll still have down time. My hope is that the next time it goes down, we'll do a little test to make sure we can get it uploaded first and then once we know we got the thing working right, we'll turn it off and make the switch as quick as possible

I saw it on Tuesday and was pretty much dis-interested in the movie. I liked the first one better. However, I think part of the reason was it was like 1 AM on Tuesday and I was really thinking sleep would of been the better idea

Howard was compared to someone in our system by Baseball America or John Sickels a few weeks ago, maybe even a month ago. THe problem is I don't remember which prospect it was. For some reason I Think it was a piece on Thomas Brice.

I sure hope so. I expect it to be up in a few hours, hopefully by 10 o clock my time, but it could hit a few snags.

Ya, I think another pickup or two would be very nice. I'd still like another starter, potentially a left handed bat, and of course another bullpen arm or two. By the way, welcome aboard
