  1. It isn't tough being a Sox fan. I love rooting for them. I call it more angering when a team gets so close and then you read about them possibly blowing up a team that really has what it takes to go the distance.

Apu definately would know more then me on the issue. I may not agree with him on many political things, but I give him credit he tons a ton of reading and knows a lot about our history. Doesn't always make him right though

With that stupid girl who says every card is a bank one, one and then she does some irish accent and says I sound Irish Huh???But I'm not or something stupid like that. Don't know why, but everytime I see the commercial I get all bitter at the damn thing

Heck of a ball player. Down in Texas they got the best ever though at least at that position. Arod is amazing and he's such a good guy. Its too bad he gets so much crap for accepting Hicks stupid offer.

And i thought i said all that in a shorter version, but thank you. As far as to answer you question, I don't really know. I definately think people being able to get away with more things has led to something. Then again, good things ever be more liberal then they were in the 60's and part of the 70's? Of course most of that died as stds started running rampant.

If I recall aids was spread in the US by some guy that was in the airline business and constantly travelled and hooked up with other people in different areas. Then from there it happened to get to someone that was gay and it spread in the gay community. It also spread majorly in the drug communities and now it is something people definately have to worry about. That one person was definately an idiot though.

I think BMR was simply saying that as society has gotten more liberal things have gotten worse. He says he doesn't care much about liberal or conservative. I also think he realizes that conservatives were in charge during part of those times, but he is talking society as a whole becoming more liberal, which it definately has. I mean while you can point out the bad, there is also the good. Women are gaining more and more rights, racism is less and less relevant, and I'm sure there are some other things I can't think of right now. The world is still far from perfect and the thing I fear is its going to take some huge distaster until people finally unify as a whole.
  8. What I mean is, they always start the season in the top 5, they always seem to recruit a top 5 class, but they can never beat Oklahoma and they struggle with A&M and Tech. They've been in two Big 12 championship games under Mack Brown and they've lost them both. Can't disagree with you. I think eventually teams in the Top 5 should have proven that they can beat winning programs and Texas has failed to do that with Mac Brown as their head coach. Everytime they roll into a big game, they find a way to lose.
  9. I just saw he was on the market so I was going to throw that name out there. If he has a longer contract then Konerko and you can't swap Konerko, I wouldn't see it as a bad thing if you could do the deal straight up. I find it highly unlikely but I've seen Milwalkee do so many stupid things.

  11. Far from over but they are looking so much better. Big thing is the ground game is actually working. Julius Jones is looking like the stud of a back he should be.
  12. Lol, I'm not that nice. I was watching the first half just wondering what was going on in Spiff's mind. I'm sure ever swear word possible had to be said. That said I was rooting for the Noles.
  13. We like to think our school doesn't have a basketball team
  14. I wish Santo the best, he's a great guy but like I've said he's not a good announcer. The few times I have heard him he's just incredibly boring on the air. Kind of like a Homer version of Joe Carter. Nothing against homers by the way. Stoney he's one of the very best and I think he's one of the sharpest pitching minds out there. When he calls a pitch, odds are you see it thrown.

Did you think its lame how they broke it into two movies just so they can charge you twice. The 2 parts together is like 3 hrs and 15 minutes. At least its not a long wait. I will say this, if you weren't desensitezed before you saw this movie now you are
  16. He's going to be on the trade block. Could the Sox work a Sexson for Konerko swap. Don't know what Sexson contract is like, but he is a pretty solid firstbaseman and would be a great 5 hole hitter. Doubt its worth it though, since the Sox are going to be wanting to cut salary when they move Konerko. The key will be having a very strong 5 man rotation. You never know what will happen with Elo next year although I think Buehrle will bounce back with his first 20 game season and I'm feeling Cy Young Potential.
  17. Ya Cerb, I saw Castro had those two starts in Kann. If they plan on moving him to the rotation, then I'll move Sanders/Hummel into the 5th slot. I think Sanders will be very productive with that slider he throws. Him and Munoz will be major league relievers. As far as Stumm I hope he can get healthy, but its hard to get him on the list. Ryan Meaux was the closer for the Warthogs for half the year and then went to Bham. He really mixes things up and has very good control. If I find a link I can give you some footage of him warming up that I shot at the Carolina/California league all star game.
  18. Still, 99 RBI's weren't enough for the type of hitter he is. I have very high expecatoins for Maggs and last season (Is that what we call it now) was a dissapointment. Still, he wasn't a dissapointment in Kocherko magnitude. Kocherko is my new word of the day

It would be very hard not to play read if he tears the cover off the ball in spring training.

It was way cool. That one fight scene that they go black and white cause of all the blood was so cool. Uma Therman is way hot and so was that girl in the school girl outfit

Move on...if you guys want to bicker, do it another way. Go for it UFC style, at least that way we can get some type of ppv set up. Maybe it would raise enough money for us to buy the Sox
  22. Happy Bday everyone.
  23. Lol...everyone wants to be just like me...even Michael Jordan
