Have we all season? Why start now?? Its never too late to do the things that are needed to win in the playoffs. I've b****ed about this all year and in previous years and it is my biggest reason why I want JM the hell out of here. Unfortunately seeing him go means the Sox don't make the playoffs and I have such HUGE expectations for this year.

If this was known yesterday then JM is a f***ing moron. A complete moron. JG has been pitching his ass of all year and would of been just fine. If this is something that came up today and for whatever reason they couldn't go to JG then and only then is that an excuse. Still, I'm really questioning. For cripes sake he was gonna PUKE???

F the Sox and their lack of clutch hitting and their unwillingness to do the little things (With exception to Roberto, Crede, and Konerko). Now its time for Scho to step his ass up and play a huge part. You want to start next year, well start off by kicking some ass in this relief performance and keeping the Twins at 4 runs. Offense, get some s*** going. Do what you got to do. I just am scared that if you don't whack a few homers, you'll never score a thing.

Elo was sick according to the Twins broadcasters. He mentioned it before the game. I guess this will start a new debate of whether Manuel should of skipped Garland. Especially if he knew that Elo was sick last night.

Get some freaking runs on the board (Like one and then you can use it to get ya back into a groove). They should of been utilizing it in the 1st (With Frank doing everything he could to get them to 2nd and 3rd) and they should of been doing it after Crede's leadoff single in the 3rd. Everett hit a line shot, but it still didn't pay off. For s*** sakes, EXECUTE.

That could be the exact type of play the Sox need to get their butts back in this one. They have already stranded runners and walked a ton of guys in an ugly game thus far. Still, its only 3 innings. Scho needs to get out of this one unscaved and the pen and the offense will have to pick up ELO for once. Elo was ugly tonight. His arm angle was all over the place, meaning he didn't have a consistent delivery and its why he was throwing so many balls. I still don't know why he isn't throwing more changeups.

I got a good feeling, win or lose the Sox are gonna have a payroll right around 70 mill next year.

I couldn't see either shortstop getting anymore then 8 mill a year. This free agent class is supposed to be soft, money wise. Not many teams are out their saying they will spend big bucks. Their is talk the Orioles will be active and the Dodgers may be active on the offensive front. Angels are interested in adding some pitching and then of course the Yanks are always buyers.

As long as the Sox don't hire Larussa or Torre.

Totally huge effort by Colon and then Buehrle. Sox needed the wins and they needed to give the pen a rest. Marte pitches two innings and no other reliever is used the next two days, then you get the off day so everyone should be fresh by Tuesday.

Agreed. I'd bring back both Alomar brothers and would probably see Everett go, soley for monetary reasons. Then bring back the entire rest of the team. Daubach will probably go and I'd probably lose Jose if they have the option. But he'll probably get his option to vest and we'll be stuck with him. I like Jose, but at 5 mill, thats a big hold up, imo.

Umm..our rotation is a hell of a lot better then the Twins. Now our bullpen isn't quite as good, but its definately solid.

Well the reason I think Hendry is increidbly over-rated is he forgot all about the bullpen and how brutal it is.

Heck, why not bring up Wilson Alvarez who has the best ERA in the majors in the 2nd half of the season. In all seriousness, Parque and Sirotka were gonna get injured. Siro was injured because he went to Japan and Parque got injured for whatever reason. Parque was never overworked or anything.
