Romo
And as much as I dislike Shockey at least the guy is only talking. I have yet to see him beat up an ump or anything like that. I think he did get in one scuffle with a teammate during training camp last year. I also got to say I'd love Shockey on my team as long as he doesn't go out and beat up girls, or jump his teammates or take out an ump, etc.

hey heads.......
I figured you were...and no I didn't open it. I assume it was him. I was too lazy to deal with it. I gave up on reading that entire thread

Tim Hummel 1 for 3 tonight for the Reds
Great to see Hummel got his first major league hit. I think he'll be a productive major leaguer for a long time, whether its as a starter or a utility guy.

Koch and Paniagua sightings
Not a clue...I'm guessing it will be in the trib again tomorrow.

ABC Reports Cotts to start
Disagree. I figure if Cotts gets shelled, its basically, you were going up against the best in the biz and you just weren't quite ready. I think Cotts is a big time pitcher and that we'll be surprised, but the Yanks beat up on guys that don't throw strikes, so Cotts will need to bring his A game and the Sox will need to bring theirs.

Koch and Paniagua sightings
Trib mentioned he was 91-93 in his first outing.

ANGELS WIN 5-4
Angels will probably turn it to their pen now, but a few more runs will be needed, imo.

Colon in 2004...
With that new avatar...its AWESOME. And I love the fact that your complimenting Wright. He's another one of those arms I love. He's done good out of the pen and from everything I've heard, he's got a great attitude and just wants to help the Sox, whether he's doing it at the major league level or working on getting back to the show at the minor league level. His future may be in the pen with us, but either way I think he's got a promising career ahead of him and I feel the same way about Cotts, although I still need to see him more.

Koch and Paniagua sightings
Neither was perfect. Still nice to see that neither gave up a run.

Romo
I know many of his teamates in Denver stuck up for him, but others didn't. He's a hell of a player and on the field I love the guy. He plays balls out all game long. Still...what a jagoff. This incident was ridiculous, especially for a veteran to be involved in it.

hey heads.......
Either way someone opened it.

Colon in 2004...

Barons Clinch
He's had a hell of a season

Colon in 2004...
Thats just it..."if he ever wanted to" Bart seems to only pitch well when things are going well, a la David Wells in 2002. Players with that attitude are free to walk away without me getting mad at all. Give me a team of battlers like Buehrle, and I'm happy. Este is in the same group, the guy just goes after people. For a second I thought you were talking about Estes

ANGELS WIN 5-4
If you could an update every inning or so would be great.

Barons Clinch
Sweet...great to see they made it through it.

This is great...
THey didnt know that colon throws harder as the game goes along and they didnt know it was actually Cotts turn in the rotation. BIggest idiots ive heard all season. Only good things they mentioned was Boomer using the slide step and how they talked about how Colon falls back and thats not a typical style pitchers would want. I also kind of liked how they talked about Everetts split grip. That was about it. I LOVED watching the game though

konerko watch
Don't lie, you have 5...don't forget the Royce Clayon Jersey never had one, never would - never - to reach pantheon status in my sox gear wardrobe, Clayton never had a chance. But I do have a Clayton autograph... I have a bunch of odd autographs. That is not a biggie. Clayton was never remotely jersey-worthy. hey jason, any crying over the cubs game today? :fthecubs (but use protection) That Cub game was ugly. Was flipping to it in between channels and I was swearing at Baker for once again overworking Wood. Baker is gonna make a lot of Sox fans happy sooner or later when the Cubs can't field a five man rotation. Kerry has a rocket arm and is really strong, but man, it was stupid letting him go that long. Of course the pen looked real sharp And as much as I dislike Sosa, he is playing really good since the whole Cork incident. Hell the guy is around 90 RBI and he missed like a month of the season.

Kip Wells
Ya, KipWellsFan and I were just talking about that. Great outing for him. Its no secret Kip was always my favorite Sox pitching prospect of that era (Now its Buehrle) and I wish him nothing but the best. I hope one day I can once again cheer for him in a Sox uniform.

This is great...
If you are referring to Michael Kay, then yes he is a moron. I dunno...they had 3 guys in the booth and they were all babbling at one point or another. At times it was ugly. They knew nothing about other teams.

Sox Sign....
Paniguaga was a very sucessful pitcher in the Mariners bullpen in 2000 and 2001. He also pitched with a team or two before that and a few teams after that. Had a great arm but in 2002 he really struggled with Detroit (I think thats where he went) and ended up falling out of baseball. This year he pitched out of the US and has gotten healthy again and has regained his 94 MPH fastball (Allegedly). I also think he through a good slider and had decent sinking action on his fastball.
