QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 06:13 AM) Be careful - if she doesn't like it, she may give your Donga Punch. ROFL...classic critic...classic.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 07:50 AM) If you like clubs, Tao is pretty good. Pure is also real good. I went to one at the Wynn, I cant remember what it was, bottle service was good and it was full of chicks (just tell your wife to go home early) Tryste
  4. I saw last years coverage and was laughing the entire time.
  5. If you post on Soxtalk...you are most definitely a fan.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 7, 2008 -> 09:39 PM) http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...0,1600685.story Discuss, :-). I don't mind Getz as the supersub/utility guy if we want to save money on Uribe's deal....but for Jerry Owens to be getting the majority of at-bats in CF against RH pitchers and for Chris to be the starting 2B, that doesn't seem like the surest way to get the fanbase excited for 2009. Of course, KW doesn't really care what the fans think, so it's his preorogative, but I can't imagine the other contending teams will be too fear-stricken. At least he didn't say Josh Fields would be the starting 3B on April 6th against KC and that Clayton Richard is his fifth starter. Well...these are the first hints about what's to come, but I don't believe it, any more than I am 100% sure Swisher will be back next season. I can totally deal with Getz at 2B if the Sox find a way to acquire a top notch leadoff hitter that can play CF.
  7. Issue has been resolved. f***ing hackers.
  8. Whats the score? 4-3?
  9. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 11:43 AM) for them? no, for you? yes So I shouldn't watch from work than correct? I'm technically here but I'm currently not billing any time (its just I have a meeting).
  10. Is Stooge TV legal?
  11. Lets do this Sox!!!
  12. I'd say yes. That was there first scoring chance and they had to be agressive. It took a near perfect play to get him too. I should point out that AJ did not do a text book job of blocking the plate or preparing for the other. He actually got lucky but I'll take it.
  13. No Soxtalk and surprisingly no SoxNet (Soxtalk's predecessor which opened during 2001).

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 11, 2008 -> 05:44 AM) wheat bread swiss cheese turkey roast beef red onions Dijon mustard tomatoes lettuce ranch oregano That sounds delicious. I'd just switch Swiss with Sharp Cheddar.
  15. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 08:22 AM) I don't think you'll see Swisher in left if Griffey is in center......as you need someone with range on the corners to help Jr out. If BA or Jr would be comfortable in LF, i'd love to see those two with Dye manning the grass...but I'm not sure if this is an option. Outside of that, I think you'll see Wise-Jr.-Dye......I just hope that Wise is moved down in the lineup. I'd rather see AJ batting second than him. I think Swisher is a better defensive outfielder than Wise. Wise doesn't make me feel comfortable defensively.
  16. I think in tropicana you have to consider playing Anderson. Team Defense and more importantly range is just such a factor in domes.
  17. QUOTE (rangercal @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 06:43 AM) I assume Griff and Dye would be locks with everyone here. So who should be the 3rd outfielder? I imagine that in a lefty start we won't see Griffey or Wise and will instead see Swisher and Brian Anderson.
  18. I like this move. Javy's on normal rest and for some reason I think he's going to relax and pitch a great game.
  19. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 10:56 PM) The only complaint I had with TBS was how Harold Reynolds was blatantly rooting for the Twins. He was annoying the hell out of me. I must have been the only one happy to here Reynolds voice. He's a joy to listen to. Ocassionally makes a dumb statement but as a whole I'm a big fan. The radio crew with Cambell was tremendous though.
  20. I can't comment on the accuracy of the gun but Jenks looked filthy. His fastball was popping a bit more and that curve was NASTY.
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 07:01 PM) This thread is scary. So are we f***ed? It sounds like we're doomed. Is there any other option? Those stats are scary bad. Is this gonna be another national Twins lovefest? Them getting 6 or 7 in the first and acting like their program is all superior to ours?? Those stats are obscene. Wow. Didn't Danks have at least one very good start against the twins? And why should we be scared...it all comes down to one game. Lets f***ing kick some ass!!!!
