Oh wow. This is just insane. I know that most of the time I take the opposite stance of you, Kip, but no matter what "political stance" you have, this merry-go-round of trying to bring down governments with doctored letters and the like has to stop. I think the same comments were coming around in Colorado. As I said from the first damn series, 2-3 *every series* gets you about 100 wins. And we're complaining about 100 wins, why? I'm NOT saying that Ozzie has done everything right, but every game in the regular season is to build for the playoffs so the execution in any stage is tested to see what will *most likely* happen. You got a guy who had retired 12 in a row I think it was. Who the f*** cares, send him back out there. You "pitch count" people amaze me. Nolan Ryan would pitch 150 pitches in a game game in and game out and you didn't hear him piss and moan about it. Garcia is a work horse. El Duque I think you have to watch a little more. It just depends on the situation. But I guess if people aren't b****ing, this wouldn't be soxtalk, nor would you be a Sox fan.

I know this is meant to be hypothetical, but it's not going to happen, and unless there's talk from the commissioner's office of it even being a remote possibility, this thread should start gasping for air and breathe some carbon dioxide and die.

Especially with this team. They always seem to have in their head being in a game. The only exception I can think of is the game I was at with Garland pitching against the Rangers. That was the only time I have seen them hang their head all year.

It just drives me crazy to see the negativity. Look, this team has some issues, and we all hope they get addressed to give us the best shot at a World Series..., right? But this team has heart, and I wish people could recognize that.
