  1. And I get the inside scoop of his insaneness now... :puke
  2. And recent Dems have a great track record as well. Dammit, we're turning the thread into what it wasn't supposed to be.
  3. Nice add to the post after I addressed your original. Give me a f'in break, by the way. White males are the downfall of America. They are all racist Republican swine.
  4. So that brings up an interesting point, why do military folks back Republican presidents and (not so much) Democratic ones? (I know what I would say but I want to see what others say).
  5. When did the majority of these players arrive? Last season before the trade deadline, when the Sox WENT AND SPENT MONEY to try to win the division. It didn't work, and they parted ways. Believe me when I say, I'm not a fan of JR, but, they did go out and try to put together the pieces last year, and frankly I would rather be in the position they are in today, having the money available to go get pieces they need then spending a bunch on free agency at the beginning of the year and not being able to go get crap now. (Woah, it's scary playing MMQB because I didn't think so at the beginning of the year...)
  6. Reading is a comprehension! Seriously, though, when I first read that I took it the same way as cw. Now I see what you meant when I went back and re-read.
  7. Wow. How ignorant is that? Comments like that is why sports is in so much trouble now. You know what? It IS your money, if you go to the park at all, tune in to baseball games on tv, or listen to the radio. All of these actions lead to money being exchanged on behalf of the players, and just like any well ran company, would you want them to waste that kind of money when they could pay 10% of that and get the same results?
  8. Even though Clinton had a lot of moral issues (duh) I think he always tried to do what he thought was best, as ALL presidents do. Every president deserves respect.
  9. The rule states that the puck has to be literally kicked in the net, a forward, distinct kicking motion. Geligna didn't kick the puck in the net, he was stopping and the puck went off his skate. The reason it was not ruled a goal was because there was inconclusive evidence to overrule the call on the ice.
  10. Wow, what a game 6 in Calgary. Back to Tampa for game 7! I'm glad it's a game 7. They both deserve to win, and only one can. It's fitting for it to end as a game 7.
  11. Hmmm. That ought to be a pretty good porn flick.
  12. Linky, Linky Now here's a shocker...
  13. Damn it Tex, ya beat me to it!
  14. AH HA... see, even the spelling bee is a sport, just like NASCAR.
  15. Oooh Davey, that is what it feels like to get boned by the NHL for suspending me...
  16. Here ya go folks, name the caption. This pic is priceless...
  17. In all seriousness, we're blasting anthony, and that's all good... , but the game should not have been a one run game. The Sox had waaaaaaay too many blown opportunites all the way around.
  18. I know the loss sucks, but LMAO, that was classic Hawk right there... he just pissed all over DJ and frankly he deserved it.
  19. It seems to me to be more of an advantage then in past years, that's for sure.
  20. First of all, I won't say anything else about this in the middle of the game thread.... but in response, I didn't say shoot Koch, that's a BS post and the poster got called on it. 'nuf said. two, I won't shut the f*** up, because it's a weakness that must be fixed. he needs to close games and not make it a fantasy f***ing adventure every time IN PRESSURE SITUATIONS. He's the best when there's no pressure, but he's sucked all year in pressure situations. You expect him to give us anything in the playoffs if the Sox make it that far? That's what it's all about. Bottom line, it's mental. I think Koch can be effective, but he's got to make the pitches to get the outs. Bloop crap or not, he blew it, and games like these are important.
  21. It does happen, and I'm not the one telling people to shoot his arm, but he's more of a head case then anything else right now. He has talent, but he just isn't a solid closer anymore. You have to admit, c-dub, it's frustrating!!
  22. Because his job is to f***ING CLOSE GAMES, not give up broken bat, hard-ass, bunt, or what the hell ever else, hits in the ninth. Period.
