The Continuing Decline & Fall of Mark Buehrle
And I notice that you're the one that has to call Rector out 99.9% of the time. You must like following Rector around. Let people decide for themselves. I might agree with you, but it gets old you chasing him around like a baby swinging from a teat.

I hear the Trumpet
Did you hear that trumpet blow today in Chitown? Saw a news article stating that Prior is to start for the Flubs on Friday vs. PIT.

hey, yo, pass that bong over here... that must be some good sh......- Game Two of the Stanley Cup Finals
yea, he did too. Stillman didn't want to go because he knew he was going to get his ass beat.- Game Two of the Stanley Cup Finals
Went to game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals. One of the neatest things about the game was being there to see all the season ending contests, that at all the regular season games you hear "Win a chance to see the Stanley Cup finals..." and I was there to see all that! Really cool. The dude for the Nextel Challenge, where you win $250,000 if you score against Olag Kolzig, the dude scored against him and won the money... that was cool as hell... The game itself... sweeeeeeeeeeeet... EVERY play, EVERY hit, EVERY odd-man rush, EVERY play... the fans were rabid and into it. The stadium was very loud. THAT is the way to watch a hockey game. Tampa was attacking the crap out of Calgary. They started the game hitting everything in site which opened the ice for them by the time the third period rolled around. They were able to pick their spots on the ice and create their own space and lanes to the front of the net, which made it 4-0 by the middle of the third period. That's when all hell broke loose. Couple of fights, couple of viscious hits, couple of scrums after the final horn, with Andre Roy chomping at the bit to go kick some ass... don't know if you caught it on the telecast, but after the game was over, the linesmen held him back from the fracass, he reaches around to pull apart his tiedown so he could go beat the crap out of someone. Him and Ignilia were REALLY jawing. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of that. It was awesome to finally see a Stanley Cup finals game after being a fan for over 20 years. You've got to be there to understand it, but that was one of the best games I've ever been to in any sport, period. And I've been to the NBA finals too. So game three tonight... should be interesting!- Attention all you chickenf*#%^$$@$
It DOES happen someplace besides Indiana I wonder what the chickens back at the coop thought? I bet it made a cockfight...- Iam doing a SITIN until we get new emoiticons

- Tuesday Night Fights!
I know you were kidding, but I'm serious. That is entirely different. That's just like, IN BETWEEN THE LINES, someone throws at someone's head and that player charges the mound. That's PART OF THE GAME. That s*** doesn't belong in the stands, PERIOD. Just like in hockey... it happens as a part of the game, and that's different, and "acceptable", if you will, because it's part of the game, whether in hockey or baseball, or basketball after a flagrant, etc. But to sit here and ignorantly say, "haw haw haw did you see that big guy get his ass kicked in the stands, haw haw haw I enjoyed that" is just plain ignorant. It doesn't belong at these games. PERIOD. For people to say that it's ok (well I know you didn't say that but making light of the situation you might as well say that it's ok) at the ballpark, in the stands, are missing the entire point of going to the baseball game in the first place.- Tuesday Night Fights!
The people that accept this as a part of the game condone this behavior. A baseball game is supposed to be a family affair, a place to get away from the "real world", so to speak, and to make light of this is shameful, at best. You don't go to a game to watch fights. You go to watch baseball. That s*** has no place at a ballpark. Period. And if you think it's ok, you need to seriously think about your priorites of being a real baseball fan.- Fla. Panthers Fire Rick Dudley
Keenan is still on the Fla. payroll for his coaching contract, and it was a huge contract. I know that the owner and Keenan are very close, and I know that Keenan kept in touch. It sounds to me like Keenan went after a coaching job or two and when that didn't pan out, Keenan went back to Cohen (Fla. owner) and told him to get rid of Dudley and let him make the decisions that should have been made in the first place. This is pretty f'ed up though, it really is.- Fla. Panthers Fire Rick Dudley
Holy s***! From what I now understand, MIKE KEENAN is to be named GM of the Fla. Panthers - and Jacque Martin is the coach. But the last part (Martin as coach) is still up in the air, but it's all but certain about Keenan. What a freakin' JOKE!- Shrek2 hurts retail sales?
Now THERE is a friggin' economist worth listening to. SHREK AFFECTED THE ECONOMY! ARRRRRRRGH. STOP THE WORLD, STOP IT NOW... LMAO- 15 Kids?!?!
That part to me, is absolutely amazing. And very cool. It says that there are a few gen-u-ine folks still out there, making it on their own and not wanting the government (US) to take care of their family all because they can't keep their pants zipped. All too often, that's not the case. Jim Bob and Michelle.- Who likes to watch the game at the upper deck?
*Insert Cub fan clueless hat here, turned right side up waiting for a ball to plop in...* wheeeeeeeere is it?- Who likes to watch the game at the upper deck?
oh wow that invites "slam on mr. eye" day, doesn't it?- Rationing oil usage
Dude, you freakin' kill me. In another thread, you have this (above)...? Then, you start this? Which is it? About 90% of your arguments, you seem to refute within two weeks, depending on which way the wind is blowing that day. :headshake Just trying to figure out what you really mean.- Old Posters lurking around the boards
Isn't SQL great? I've had to do it, and it sucks. That's why I know that you don't or won't look through PM's.- Fla. Panthers Fire Rick Dudley
To further the thought, I would LOVE IT if they got Larry Robinson (aka NJ Devils old coach). Maybe that is what will happen. But all I know is whoever they name will be both GM and Coach. - Why did you pick your user name
