    QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 09:07 AM) Yes, I have a 20 Warlock, have just finally been getting involved in crucible matches. I've never been good at FPS multi-player, but in just 2 days of playing it with any sort of regularity, I've gone from totally useless to barely competent, which seems like a vast improvement. Username is JUMPtheCHZBURGR Wowowow only 20, you seeing this Carl? He's probably still better than Jose

  8. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 26, 2014 -> 09:06 PM) 12 team, PPR, standard scoring QB: Drew Brees RB: Ben Tate RB: Toby Gerhart WR: AJ Green WR: Michael Crabtree TE: Kyle Rudolph FX: Michael Floyd D/ST: Bills K: Dan Carpenter Bench: RB: Mark Ingram, Lance Dunbar, Christine Michael WR: Dwayne Bowe, Justin Hunter, Kenny Britt TE: Tim Wright I had the 12th pick and wasn't happy about the running backs I had to pick from, and I'm still not particularly happy, but I think I can live. Ouch, I hope that was only a mock draft
  9. 34-6 Lolololol you see that one tru
  10. Once again, if Indians called themselves redskins is it really offensive to them? "After O’Fallon’s 1821 council with the Sauks, the next recorded uses of redskin were in August 1821 at a treaty conference held at Chicago with representatives of the Ottawas, Chippewas, and Potawatomis (Kappler 1904–1941, 2: 198–201). There the lead speaker for the Potawatomis was the accomplished orator Metea (Meete-ay), a chief from the Wabash River (McKenney and Hall 1933, 2: 205212), who declared: “I am an Indian, a red-skin, and live by hunting and fishing, but my country is already too small” (Schoolcraft 1825: 342). And Topinabee (Topenebee), the Potawatomi principal chief, said: “My Father,—I am a red skin. I do not know how to read or write, but I never forget what is promised me” (Schoolcraft 1825: 347)." anthropology.si.edu/goddard/redskin.pdf

  17. Except war isn't claiming it measures best player, it is supposed to measures a more exact figure of wins above replacement. So how could somebody be worth 13 wins more oh but also 17 wins more? They can't, and that should destroy any credibility the stat has as it is then contrived. Like I did with my TIP compared to FIP, I could make my own WAR formula and it would be no more and (more importantly) no less valid a stat than war
  18. QUOTE (gatnom @ Aug 13, 2014 -> 10:51 AM) I'm not the most optimistic person when it comes to what I think he will be as a player for us at the major league level, but it's very clear that he has nothing left to prove in the minors. If he can come in right away and more or less dominate AAA pitching, I see no reason not to bring him up. i think what they want more is the practice in the outfield and build up his endurance to play 9 innings out there
  19. You don't really needed to accelerate to get away from the confrontation, he is in a car, in less than a second he will be yards past him and the confrontation can't escalate. If the kid had a rocket launcher, then yeah accelerate to get away but otherwise there is no valid need that I can think of
  20. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 12, 2014 -> 11:48 AM) funny, so do I Well done sir
  21. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 12, 2014 -> 12:39 PM) Stewart really didn't run into him either until he excelerated and his back end spun into him. He either has the worst timing of all time, is an utterly incompetent driver, or wanted to show the guy pulling a Tony Stewart on Tony Stewart who the boss was. Yeah imo Stewart obviously was trying to f*** with the guy and it sure did backfire. No-one will ever be able to prove it with all the excuses of poor lighting, visibility, dirt track that's hard to control, and Tony will never admit it. But I think he knew what he was doing, didn't mean for it to kill the guy obviously, but he'll have to live with knowing that the rest of his life, so that is probably punishment enough
  22. http://jalopnik.com/this-is-the-view-from-...-car-1620047682 Still, he said: "I seen Kevin clear as day. Nobody else ran into him, either."
  23. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 12, 2014 -> 11:41 AM) He was already put on waivers, the Cubs put a claim on him, and the Phillies pulled him back. hmm you quoted a non existent post
