While I don't believe Lin will be a good PG for a contender, he definitely has a future as a backup. Has a good I.Q., solid vision, can shoot, drive and so far... is efficient and is very solid defensively. He'll be overrated by Knick fans and the media for a long time, but they've had crap PG play since Felton left, so he looks like a god send right now. (and he has been) We'll see with time, but he's been terrific so far.

I think it's obvious Toews is still hurt. Not the same player.

Lin definitely has a future in the NBA.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 09:44 AM) Someone needs to say it...sometimes it takes someone on the outside of the forest to point out the obvious. Agreed.

In all seriousness, congrats bro. Jesus the "young" soxtalk posters (as we used to be known as) are all growing up so fast.

QUOTE (greasywheels121 @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 06:03 AM) So I got engaged yesterday. With a little bit of..

QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 02:44 AM) This almost sounds like a Lions fan trying to defend Suh. Yea that was pretty weak, but nothing out of the ordinary with a fan defending their favorite team and/or player.

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 11:13 PM) I would hope so. Hell, I hope to live to see age 68. The males in my family have a bad track record of that.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 10:39 PM) Sure beats anything Tebow related. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ times 1,000,000,000,000,000.

Eli Manning >> Tom Brady.

Party bus with co-workers tonight. That should be interesting...

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Feb 2, 2012 -> 01:16 PM) So, Jackson eventually ended up with the Nats and Dunn ended up with the White Sox after all. This post... is a win.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 03:07 AM) Sam Gagner had a night, huh? 4 goals and 4 assists, tying the franchise record for points in one game (also held by a couple decent players...Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey). Amazing night for #89. Funny thing is, he was rumored to be going to Chicago earlier in the year and Stan backed off. Whoops..

Happy B-Day Keith.

Dammit, I am going back to Vegas this summer, Mark. Your ass better be still there!

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 12:58 AM) Not VC over Alonzo or Weis? If that was in an actual NBA game, that would be the best dunk ever.. by far. I still think it is, even considering just straight up dunks. Dr. J had a real good one as well.

QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 08:55 PM) Just watched a postgame interview with LeBron.............that dude has no personality. Listening to him talk is similar to listening to The Situation from Jersey Shore........you kind of just feel akward when you hear them talking. Yet he is very smart talking basketball in general. One of the better ones in the game at that, very knowledgeable. Anything other than the game however... yikes.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 07:39 PM) Wow at whats going on in this thread right now. Some got their panties in a bunch that the (Bulls lost) Heat won, some have a stick up their ass from Felix posting, my boy J4L sucking on LeBron's tit for the MVP... pretty much the usual stuff here.

QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jan 28, 2012 -> 08:58 AM) Don't mind the deal at all... Connelly wasn't going to be much for the Hawks and Morrison is a good leader but slow as hell! He'll fit with the other slow, old guys Bowman is acquiring these days.

John "the stud" Danks.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 26, 2012 -> 08:22 PM) Fractured left ankle on Bogut. In other news, the sky is blue.

Jeff Manto.

QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 25, 2012 -> 09:56 PM) The Wolves had one healthy point guard tonight and two healthy guards (unless you count Wes Johnson as a guard, which is hilarious), yet walked into Dallas and beat them by 15. Rubio played 46 minutes (17 pts, 12 ast, 7 reb, 4 stl, 7 to), Love put up 31 on 16 shots, etc. And the Mavs played without that Dirk guy. Oh, and Rubio he did that with 17 shots and 7 turnovers. Sorry, had to point out the inefficiency there Felix. Kevin Love however, was the man as usual. Filled up the stat sheet, with efficiency (also had 10 FTA). T-Wolves are very lucky to have that stud locked up.

QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 01:19 AM) I'm glad the Sox extended Danks instead of Mark. Ditto. This board knows how much I love John Danks.

Probably close, but I think it's safe to say it'll be finalized very soon.
