QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 08:09 AM) Is Olacio a SP as he matures? I'm assuming they are starting him in the pen due to his age Yes, sox will give him every opportunity to start in the future. Legit size and frame to go along with his arm.

Alexei.

Let him enjoy possibly his last year in Chicago. (barring Theo going after him next year)

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 16, 2012 -> 01:49 PM) I don't think it's a big deal because I never got the Tupac fascination. Not a rap fan either though. Explains it perfectly. And anyone expecting him to look exactly the same as he did at 25 like that hologram is kidding themselves. Entrance was amazing though.. "The rose that grew from concrete".. chills.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 07:14 PM) Yeah, I love his control. 11 Ks to 1 BB so far. That's dominance. Sometimes the hits given up are due to poorer defense behind him, but there is no doubting the pitcher independent stats like K/BB. Also, it's hard not to be very encouraged my Mitchell's start. But as we all already know, he needs to get his Ks down. Mitchell has been on fire. And Molina has always had fantastic control. H/9 and SO are meh right now, but it's early.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 09:37 PM) Hey Pittsburgh, having the best two players in hockey doesn't help if you give up 8 goals. What an entertaining series so far though. Giroux is just too sick for his own good.

What a game. Andrew Shaw has been one of (some might argue is) the best Hawk players on the ice in his first playoff game.

QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 09:33 PM) Check the scorer's table near the Bulls' bench for the Heat game tonight. Gordon Beckham, blonde, blonde, Brent Lillibridge Nice to know the owner. Still the slayer I see. And he's taking recruits!

Being severely out hit and horribly losing the face off numbers. Add a terrible power play and this team has a short series ahead of them.

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) Jonathan Toews, 1 month missed, 2 shifts, 1 goal. It was a weak goal to give up by Mike Smith, but dammit we'll take it! Welcome back #19.

Keenyn Walker 4-4 2B, 3 R, 3 RBIs. Got his average up to .290 now.

QUOTE (balfanman @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 07:11 AM) All right! Here's hoping that me taking him as a sleeper prospect & AAP skyrockets his career. Paulie....watch out! I actually knew the guy when he was at Purdue, so ya.. right there with ya bud.

Edmonton wins their 3rd straight lottery (they had worse odds this year however).. wow.

A construction worker was killed on 130th n Torrance yesterday when a cable off a beam snapped and killed him instantly. Sad thing was, it was an old landlord of mine, and just one of the nicest guys I've met (my mother's very good friend) and he was trying to go back to his old job on the CTA but the "higher ups" wouldn't let him. Just goes to show you never know when it's your time to go. Just had a baby as well...

Happy B-Day Joe.

Pretty cool to see Dale Tallon's Florida Panthers in the playoffs too. Leafs are now the only team who has not been in the playoffs post lockout.
