QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 02:58 PM) Well, I think J4L was talking pre missing a finger/worst game 7 imaginable Kobe. His finger will never be the same again.. though I'm sure he'll do that anytime to win a title which he did. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) It helps that after he bricks it Gasol and Artest are there to put it back in. At least he took the shot rather than kicking it out to Mo Williams/Jamario Moon for a 3 pointer.

Actually now that I think about it, Morrow might not be matched, though this is GS. Totally forgot they traded and signed David Lee for 80 million.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 01:49 AM) He hit like 48% of his 3's last year. But if you're going to talk about people who do nothing but jack up shots........ Well Don Nelson's system isn't actually disciplined in that department. You, fathom and I have mentioned Morrow before. Problem with him is he is just a good 3 point shooter. He's average athletically, and when he gets to the rim he has Luol Deng issues on finishing strong. (cept that one time he actually dunked the ball like a man) Your right on the tendency to chuckle shots though, so hopefully Thibs can get through to him. Bulls probably have to overpay to get him as well though (Warriors likely to match even with all of their guards and they traded away the kid with good potential to the Knicks) Same with Redick. One of them though I would love to see the Bulls get to snipe off the bench. (or Korver) I would LOVE Morrow as a best case.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 01:42 AM) Like I've been saying, chances are you're not going to find a stud SG who is good on both ends of the court, so you have to make do. Thats why I liked the idea of Morrow and Brewer splitting time. Richardson is as close as it gets. Decent offensively, adequate defensively. Also a willing passer and is a much more consistant 3 point shooter.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 01:39 AM) Michael Redd makes Ben Gordon look like prime Gary Payton defensively. No thanks. Thats an understatement. He is awful. In fact.. Thibs wanted an unselfish team. Deng has his selfish issues, but Redd wants his shots... and will get his.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 01:37 AM) As long as Redd is healthy, either of those would be absolutely perfect fits. Give me J-Rich anyday if I had to choose. Boozer and Rose are enough for guys who suck at defense (though I think Rose can and will improve). Redd is on another level of suck despite him chuckling a ton of shots and making them at a decent rate.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 01:35 AM) All bets are off after last night's debacle. Ya I can definitely see Shaq comming back to South Beach. He loved it down there. He can also continue sleeping with woman without cheating on his ex-wife anymore.

Whats with all the Iguodala talk? Is he on the block that I'm not aware of? I thought the 76ers were putting him at SF.

QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:22 AM) By the way, I love Noah's reaction to the news of LBJ going to Miami. Joakim is the antithesis of LeBron -- he digs in with his guys and f***ing battles. I love that. I hope he is named captain for that locker room. No disrespect to Kirk (can't believe I'm saying that since I hate the guy's game) but Noah is a much better leader for this team. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:11 AM) I can respect all the Bulls enthusiasm. But I just can't get excited knowing that ultimately there's a team in our conference that will be as close to unbeatable as any team in the modern era. I still think the Lakers can and will beat them with their depth, but if they sign Shaq along with other serviceable NBA players at the MLE... ya... they are scary to pair with LeBron-Wade-Bosh and even the sniper Miller.

7/8 Games
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:49 PM) Good, but I won't get excited about him until he is doing things like this in AA. Well he is only I think 19 so thats actually good for the league he's in cause he's young for the league, but I of course doubt he's really 19. Heres Great Falls boxscore since it wasn't posted.. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...grfrok_helrok_1 The guy I'm starting to like on GF is Randall Thorpe if he can start hitting for average. Great discipline for the kid in the league.

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:44 AM) We need a SG. . . somebody call MJ. We need 2.. Give me a Morrow/Redick/Korver/maybe Mason type sniper and a Brewer type defender and I'll be happy. Looks like Deng, Johnson, etc.. are safe from trades. (and Deng better be a 3rd option, not a 2nd Thibs) Rose ------- Deng Boozer Noah Gibson Johnson -------- Law? or -------- Asik Not bad. Possible top 3-4 team in the East.

QUOTE (aprec32 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:11 AM) Yeah, Kobe is now going to be a hero to many. I'm very perplexed right now. I hate Kobe but what these 3 did isn't right. They are taking the easy way. Who do I root for? If Kobe's team meets that team in the NBA finals and he somehow beats them... you know he will be heavily thrown around with Jordan as the GOAT alot with this crazy media.

They did what they had to do all along. Beasley had to go, and they got needed space. Pat Riley and company are looking like gods right now.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:03 PM) Ace You cant just give up if your the Bulls. They may not have the star power, but a solid team with a great system can win 4 out of 7 games. There will be a huge bulleye on the Heat, they will get the other teams A game every night. Well see what happens. I was obviously posting in hyperbole. I did post a few minutes prior for the Bulls to get a SG and a sniper and depth on the bench. I like our team alot actually, so we'll see what Gar/Pax does.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:50 PM) So there are a few places reporting that Mike Miller will sign a 5 year 30 million dollar deal with Miami. LeBron/Wade/Miller/Bosh/Shaq (if he signs for the minimum as rumored). Wow just wow. At this rate no one should even try, except the Lakers (maybe Boston), to challenge that team.

Dan Lebatard, Chris Broussard, (though I always liked Broussard, has some of the best sources on ESPN) Stephen A. Smith (and yes I hate Leba-retard and screamin A. ain't that great, cept his cheese doodles) look like geniuses.

Cleveland radio guys: "If he had gone to Chicago, he'd have been the #1 guy. If he had gone to New Jersey, he'd have been the #1 guy. If he had gone to New York, he'd DEFINITELY be the #1 guy. If he had gone to the Clippers, he'd have been the #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 guy. If he had gone to Cleveland, of course he'd have still been the #1 guy. This though.. I nor anyone can't even stomach." They are shocked that if he had to leave, why didn't he choose Chicago.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:13 PM) l2ms lebron to miami soon. My sources had told me that. Not that I have to stroke your ego anymore, but outstanding call there and I'll give you props once again on it.
