I just wanted to point out to all the nay sayers of Guillen, Williams and Walker that this is one of the most talented Whitesox teams I have ever seen take the field. Williams did an AWESOME job this offseason to field a team that had the capability to win. That is his job. That is all he can do. Its up to the player to perform and win. The problem is that every player, with the exception of Jenks and the starting pitching, has just plain sucked. For some reason or another they just aren't good. No manager or general manager could have ever predicted this. Could Williams predict that Aardsma and MacDougal would suck this bad after finishing their 2006 seasons complete studs? No. Could Williams predict that the best offensive MLB team in 2006 would be batting .232 after 52 games? No. Williams found the right players for the job, but the players haven't been doing their job. It's not Williams fault. Can you blame Guillen? Why? Because of the lineup he chooses? Because of the timing of the reliever he brings in? No. Because no matter what the lineup is right now, they aren't going to hit. No matter who the reliever is he brings in, they are going to suck. Can you blame Walker? Yes you can. Its all his fault our team is hitting .232. Because he taught them to suck. No, you can't blame Walker. The hitters just aren't doing their jobs. And they are all VERY VERY capable of hitting. So what's the point of this post? Stop blaming Williams, Guillen and Walker. And stop whining. Despite being 7.5 games out of our division lead and 5 games back of the wildcard, we are still a VERY VERY talented team and we are very capable of making the playoffs. If it takes 95 wins to make the playoffs who care which 95 games we win?? I'm sure you were a lot happier Whitesox fan this time last year, but how did we finish? LETS GO SOX!

Sox Bullpen - Why run when you can walk?

I liked the deals this offseason that Kenny made. He got good players they just didn't play good. Thome and Podsednik got injured. And now our pitching sucks. There are so many variables in baseball and they all have to lineup. You have to think about how everything went our way in '05 and now it doesn't. I'm not going to judge anything until the trade deadline Look at the brightside, the Yankees are one of the worst 5 teams in all of baseball.

Kalapse, did you build that Salary sheet? Thats pretty slick.

Great now Danks will lose to Santana instead of losing to Kazmir, who will both dominate our hitters.

It seems like all but like 6 teams in baseball is under .500.

Did anyone else notice that EVERY team we play in June is under .500? Drool

I repeat, you have to PITCH INSIDE.

Aardsma has to pitch inside. Especially on a cold day.

Jaque Jones was impersonating Podsednik's throw home in Oakland.

Sisco has no balls.

Nick obviously needs that one inning to get loose, which makes him a bad canidate to be a reliever.

One thing I would like to see from our bullpen is stop pitching on the outside corner. Pitch inside. The outside corner is for guys like Moyer and Glavine who throw 85 mph, not guys that throw 95. Own that inside corner. Knock the batter down. Get in their head. You need to have the mentality of the nasty boys, Randy Myers, Rob Dibble and Norm Charlton.

Nothing sucks more than watching the bullpen blow the game in the past few innings. We just have to remember that these guys are all young and have all played for losers before they came to Chicago (KC, Seattle, Cubs) now they have higher expectations. I think they all have good stuff and will grow into their roles. The worst part about coming out of the bullpen is that if you have 1 bad outing it takes away from all the good outings you had. This team really sucks right now and it sucks watching them, but they are only 4.5 games out of first in the best division of baseball and there are alot of games to be played. If we hit .250 for the rest of the year and the bullpen improves just slightly then we are an entirely different team. I'm just as impatient as everyone else but we just have to wait it out.

Wow, Ozzie substitutes Sweeney and Macoviak for the lefty vs. righty matchup and they both strikeout. Once again that DOESN'T FUGGING WORK!

Ozzie will never learn that MacDougal sucks. You have Aardsma, with an ERA under 2 and more k's than innings pitched. OR You have MacDougal with an ERA over 5 and a WHIP of about 2. I'm so sick of Ozzie's stupidity. The choice is so obvious but he's so F32king stupid. His ignorance has cost us at least 5 games. Please don't wake up tomorrow Ozzie.

Buehrle didn't deserve the win. Anyone that walks Henry Blanco doesn't deserve to win.

God is punishing Sox fans for ripping on Brian Anderson's terrible batting average last year. His pathetic batting average last year would probably be tops on the team this year.

Ozzie should have left Javier in for the 8th. If he got in trouble, then bring in Aardsma. Aardsma is 10X better than MacDougal. Then bring Jenks in for the save. Ozzie always has to use 6 pitchers to get through the 7th & 8th innings. Righty vs. Righty and Lefty vs. Lefty. So stupid.
