  1. Ok, fill context time... He says "these people are $h!t... excuse me... -ing on the White House" He wasnt talking about the People of Indiana after all. but his last phrase is still up for debate. Might the worthless white ____ he was referring to be Ross Perot'?
  2. i did some more listening and did a little editing in Soudtrack Pro and now to me it sounds like "worthless white tigger". lol They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy.....Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun.....But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is.....I'm the only one
  3. QUOTE (pierard @ May 2, 2008 -> 10:20 AM) Good find. I don't know if I am hearing it because that's what I expect to hear, but with headphones on and the volume all the way up it does sound like he says "worthless white...." I'm sure someone in the media has access to an audio team that can isolate the quote. I took the unedited video off of youtube, converted the audio to WAV and amped it up +36db in Audacity. I dont have the ability to clean out the "ruffles" in the background, but it sounds liek "worthless white ni**er" to me. I'll post a link to the wav file soon. if any of you have audio EQ editing abilities you are more than welcome to take it and adjust it. Unedited Audio +36db Audio
  4. to be fair: I found the actual video fo the documentary and it looks liek the video was voiced over at the end... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_wKOgMNs0U @4:40 he says his "$h!t" comment, but the "worthless white ni**er" comment is inaudible. But if you turn it up ALL the way, it DOES sound like he used those words.
  5. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 2, 2008 -> 09:22 AM) Ouch. What were they thinking with that camera there? He now says he never said it...
  6. This is NOT safe for work. See what a Clinton adviser REALLY thinks about Indiana...
  7. This from Robert Feder this morning... Tribune Co. did not pay a rights fee to pick up Blackhawks hockey broadcasts on news/talk WGN-AM (720). The three-year deal, announced Wednesday, is based on a commercial revenue-sharing agreement.
  8. So, Posted some of this in the gerneal election thread, but I thought this warented some Obama specific talk. Swing State update (Obama v McCain): PA: Obama +9 FL: McCain +1 OH: McCain +1 I also think Obama will win MN, IA, WI, MI, CT, and NJ. Those are tossup states (according to 270towin.com He also has a real shot at winning NV, CO, and NM (especially if Richardson is on the ticket). That bodes will in the general election for Obama. Using those states, Obama wins 274 to 264. Heck, he can lose NV or NM if Nebraska splits their electoral vote 3/2 for McCain (Nebraska proportions it's electoral votes), he would win 271-267.
  9. Swing State update (Obama v McCain): PA: Obama +9 FL: McCain +1 OH: McCain +1 Swing State update (Clinton v McCain): PA: Clinton +14 FL: Clinton +8 OH: Clinton +10 Not good for McCain either way. He really needs to win all 3. Especially with Obama bringing CO, NV, NM, MT, and ND/SD into play.
  10. Clinton to hold town hall meeting two days before In and NC primaries. That's not the story. the story is where...
  11. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 1, 2008 -> 11:20 AM) What is odd to me about these NC and IN polls is how all over the place they are. I cannot remember a state where the results of polls from reputable organizations (not Zogby or ARG), and virtually the same time, had such a wide swath. I mean, just looking at polls this week, North Carolina ranges from Obama +14 (which would be a jump up) to Clinton +2 (which would be a HUGE jump for her), and Indiana ranges from Obama +3 to Clinton +9. Trying to determine a trend from those is nearly impossible. I stick with SurveyUSA. They have been the most reliable this entire campaign season. They have Obama +5 in NC and Clinton +9 in IN.
  12. Why isnt Obama in favor of a gas tax holiday when he supported it in 2000? Simple, the facts are it doesnt work! http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/ar...iday-gas-taxes/
  13. This is an AWESOME graph of Superdelgate Support... http://www.swivel.com/graphs/show/27712544?per_page=50
  14. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 1, 2008 -> 10:20 AM) A 5th for Obama today. FYI: Apparently the Chicago ones arent until Monday. PS: Seems like Obama is getting 4 or 5 to 1 in superdelegate endorsements since PA. Looks like PA didnt shake them.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 1, 2008 -> 09:51 AM) Green or not, that really racism really isn't a funny joke. my apologies. I removed that. My point is that i find it odd that they release this poll and kind of shrug off the black vote.

  17. One last post for the morning... McCain's once 15 point lead in FL over Obama has been eroded down to only a single point. PS: Same poll has Clinton +8 over McCain.
  18. Latest NC Polls: Rasmussen... 04/28 - 04/28... Obama +14.0 SurveyUSA... 04/26 - 04/28... Obama +5.0 Insider Advantage... 04/29 - 04/29... Clinton +2.0 Mason-Dixon... 04/28 - 04/29... Obama +7.0 A side note- this form the poll that has Clinton +2: “Our polling generally does not indicate the eventual compression of black voters that Obama usually enjoys just before Election Day."
  19. QUOTE (bmags @ May 1, 2008 -> 08:48 AM) You know, I thought people would be gullible for this gas tax holiday but talking to numerous people, it turns out many understand why gas isn't going down and know this tax holiday is garbage town. not to mention it is getting ripped apart by economists and op-ed pieces.
  20. QUOTE (kapkomet @ May 1, 2008 -> 07:15 AM) somehow, you all got caught up in AHB's post string. But I think it's stopped now. huh?
  21. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 02:47 PM) Fields at 2B would make a sense. has he ever played 2nd? Its an interesting idea. but he needs time to get used to the position.
  22. QUOTE (LetsTalkAboutSoxBaby @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:38 PM) Any chance Alexei's work visa works in Charlotte? I sure hope so...
  23. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 03:45 PM) Actually I'm pretty sure that when Congressmen/Senators slip in wording in bills to give them funding for local infrastructure projects like that bridge, it's called pork. And then legislators from other regions call it wasteful. That's part of what pork is from the way I understand it. So, he's against pork of any kind. And he's for a Gas Tax Holiday that wouldn't fund the highway trust fund.... so, he's for more bridge collapses?
