  1. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 18, 2007 -> 10:53 AM) ***if that is not a Chihuahua, then nevermind. It's actually a Papillon.
  2. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jan 18, 2007 -> 08:09 AM) Hey asshole, if the Saints win, its not going to make anything better in New Orleans, and I hope the Bears stomp them. Boers and Bersie have had the BEST stance on this topic and the most well thought out. Yes it might bring "civic pride" to N.O. if they win, but it will not rebuild the city. It will not bring back the "chocolate city" the mayor wants. They can say it far more equivalently than I can, but that is the jist of their comments.
  3. They just built a new stadium 10 years ago and now they want to move out and build again! What the hell??? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...7011002496.html
  4. I scored a 19 and ended up exactly where I expected... Near the middle leaning a little liberal. QUOTE(knightni @ Jan 8, 2007 -> 11:15 AM) All us middies between 18 and 24 should start our own political party. I actually agree with that. I have an issue with a two party system. Yuo are either one or th eother. If you side left, the right will paint you as a leftist libral... even if you arent. And once you are branded, you're stuck with it! A middle party right between the two would be great.
  5. QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 12, 2007 -> 09:25 PM) the steve sax moment has to be up there. It's Steve "Psyco" Lyons", but I second that. So funny and yet so stupid! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Lyons_(...#Eccentricities
  6. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 11, 2007 -> 05:27 PM) Just curious, who are your top 5? My top 5 I dont get? 5) Angelina Jolie 4) Carmen Electra 3) Pam Anderson 2) Anna Nicole Smith 1) Paris Hilton
  7. QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Jan 11, 2007 -> 12:41 PM) Better hope the electrical has been upgraded sometime in the last decade or two, or you will not be a happy camper when your computer, etc start popping curcuit breakers every day. The same for the plumbing. I hated that the most at the 60 year old house I recently left. Every plumbing problem became an issue with just the age of the pipes working against you, and leaks in expensive, hard to get places. Oh well obviously. It depends on house to house. Cant really tell from pictures on the internet. My wifes cousin recent bought a house not to far from those two and they gutted the plumming in the whole house.
  8. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jan 11, 2007 -> 05:27 PM) What the? Jessica Biel is the only female in history to cause me to have a giant boner for 2 hours straight. I couldn't even get up to get a refil on popcorn during TCM. She is on and off with me. SOmetimes she really is stunning, other I find her too skinny. On 7th heaven, i was always a bigger fan of her sister played by Beverly Mitchell.
  9. QUOTE(Reddy @ Jan 11, 2007 -> 02:14 PM) yeah i agree with that one - especially dunst... sorry Athomeboy, but i just dont see it at all Kirsten has her moments where she isnt too good looking. I REALLY like her in Spiderman. WIth the redish hair, she's smokin'!
  10. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 11, 2007 -> 12:30 PM) I'll also add jennifer aniston and kirsten dunst. Don't mess with my girl Kirsten!! lol
  11. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jan 10, 2007 -> 12:43 PM) I've been looking at houses here and there in the west suburbs and if you want something under 10 years old, unless you go way out west...you're payin 500,000 minimum. New housing is RIDICULOUSLY expensive everywhere (probably a combination of product cost going up and UNIONS). My wife and I want to move back to her hometown in Iowa (near Iowa City) in a few years. New housing is WAY expensive even for our there. I can get a 60+ year old home in good condition for $110. New homes are a minimum of TWICE that. Or, smaller new homes are as expensive as larger older homes. Let me give you this example... 3 Bedroom, 1 bath, 1304 sq ft, built 1900: Cost: $124,900 (or, $95.78 per sq ft 2 Bed, 1 Bath, 884 Sq. Ft., built 2005. Cost: $112,900 (or, $127.71 per sq ft.) These two buildings are LITERALLY one block apart. Why would I buy the new one when I can get the old one with more square feet, a deck, AND a nice back yard?
  12. Pam Anderson Anna Nicole Smith Paris Hilton Carmen Electra Angelina Jolie Jessica Biel Charlize Theron Eva Longoria
  13. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 10, 2007 -> 03:27 PM) I had the biggest crush on the pink ranger from the Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger series growing up. Of course, I think any kid who watched the show did. I know I did. Amy Jo Johnson... so hot! (Well, back then I thought she was. Not so much now) QUOTE(Balance @ Jan 8, 2007 -> 04:11 PM) How about Kari Byron, the girl from "MythBusters?" Oh yea! I have a major secret crush on her. Not sure why, but she is my secret crush. So cute, yet she is so "not the regular girl"
  14. some one please correct me if I am wrong here, but sending in 20,000 troops to secure a SINGLE city seems a little flawed. That's like sending in the national guard to defend Springfield when Joliet and Schaumburg are getting attacked by insurgents. It just doesn't work that way. ONE city does not stabilize a country.

    MacWorld

the iPhone is soooo yummy! Too bad it's Cingular (Soon to be AT&T Mobile). I'll just have to wait until they open it up to other providers.
  16. I am sure my logic is SEVERLY flawed on many leves, but I am a proponant of the governement owning the infestucture (telephone, electric, intenet) and leasing it out to regional or local companies. THe companies must maintain the lines thought. Just a thought. Highly flawed, but interesting.
  17. Monday Nights Tonight show (the headlines segments) Gilmore Girls (for my wife) One Tree Hill (my guilty pleasure) LOST SuperNatural Family Guy Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

  20. QUOTE(juddling @ Dec 28, 2006 -> 01:44 PM) In light of Gerald Ford's recent passing..... Gerald Ford eaten by wolves?????? LMAO!!! "Gearold FOrd died today.... and I'm gay...... now wait just a second.."
  21. As promised.... "Well, first off I wouldnt hold my breath expecting to get to vote for him in the primary........he was a sh_tty governor so I would be a little worried about him being a PResident.......especially right now with the Iowa Board of Regents so messed up!! So, if you can ttell yet ------- I wouldnt vote for him if he ran for dog catcher!!!!"
  22. When I get home, I'll post an e-mail I got from my mother-in-law when i asked her about her thoughts on Tom Vilsack. It's CLASSIC! (My mother-in-law lives in Iowa. Outside Iowa City to be exact)
  23. US automakers are getting squashed by more efficient foreign makers. I saw a Modern Marvels on the History channel and it talked about the way cars are made by Hyundai. They put a premium on quality, not quantity. If a problem is found with a car, the WHOLE LINE is shutdown to make sure it doesn't spread to more cars and force a recall. American industry tends to be "push out as much as we can". Companies like Ford and GM could use a little help from over seas.
  24. QUOTE(soxwon @ Dec 26, 2006 -> 06:40 PM) also who will be the Democrat nominee? i think hillary and obama will cancel each other out and John Edwards will get the nod. OH! Good call. I really liked John Edwards last time around. However, if Edwards is smart, he should bring in Obama as VP. That gives Obama time to really learn the ropes and prep himself to run for President once Edwards is done.
