Ok, i might need to correct this. I think it's actually famous movie trailer voiceover guy Dan Lafontaine. If it IS Dan Lafontaine, he's channeling Gene Honda. I demand a.... "number 14... Paul Konerko!" before the Oscars are over.

Gene Honda is the P.A. announcer for the Oscars! I'm not sure if he has ever done that before. Right after the opening video I heard, "Please welcome your host... Ellen Degeneres".

I welcom a merger. I have been itching to get satalite for my car, however I am not sure I can get it past the "finance committee" (aka my wife). With two seperate networks, I'd have to choose between NLF/NBA or MLB. I didnt like that idea. Hopefully a merged company will offer one service, that woul dbe sweet! I need my White Sox and Bulls when i travel.

What would the new corporate name be? Sirius XM? Sounds good to me! XM-Sirius? BLAH! SiriusX? Interesting?

I tried to watch part of it last night... it was so bad.. I mean worse than SNL bad! And that's pretty bad! THe problem is, they are mocking a show that is already mocking the media. You can't mock the mocker, it makes you look stupid. Plus, why s a show like this on Fox News. I thought they were supposed to be a "legit" fair and balanced news station? Comedy Central can do it, they arent a news station!! This is part question, part needing to vent. Ok, so last night my wife went to bed around 9:30 and I stayed up and was watching TV. Around 10:30 PM, my sister-in-law calls to tell us she is pregnant. now keep in mind thi sisnt her first child. It's her second. Also, I have a very sick grandfather, so any calls late at night is a little scary. It could be "the call". Who the hell calls at 10:30 at night to tell you they are pregnant? Isnt that more of a 6-9 PM call? To me, 10:30 PM is reserved for emergancys like a death in the family. Thoughts?
