Soxtalk Softball Part II
QUOTE (DumpJerry @ Jul 24, 2008 -> 02:32 PM) Hmmm......I know a White Sox fan site which would take him off our hands in a trade. He'd fit right in with them.......I just don't know who we'd want from them. Be careful. You'll be up to 100 posts here before you know it!

Hurricane Dolly Bearing Down on Me
So it's true. It takes a hurricane to slow down Tex's posting count.

LET'S MAKE A LIST - PART IV
I'm tabulating the lists. I'll probably start the countdown this weekend.

Sox Option Russell, Call Up Clayton Richard
He reminds me a little of Freddy Garcia.
-
Uribe Not Going to Boston
That whole article makes me happy. Outside of acquiring Derek Lowe...

Sox Option Russell, Call Up Clayton Richard
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 23, 2008 -> 08:04 PM) Never had a chance to actually see the delivery. I wonder if there is some game video out there? http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?g...mp;mode=gameday There are some highlights in Gameday. Mostly of Texas clobbering him. There's also this AAA start

CQ4MVP
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 23, 2008 -> 07:48 PM) Wow, thanks for the insight. They are saying that Quentin will win MVP over Hamilton because he's on a winning team. I'm saying otherwise.

QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 23, 2008 -> 07:35 PM) I doubt it unless Texas somehow beats out the Angels which isn't very likely. If Q can lead the lead in HR and finish in the top 3 in RBI while the Sox come in 1st in the Central he's got as good a chance as anyone. Hamilton's a better story than Andre Dawson was in 1987. Hamilton will win if his stats are better than Quentin's.

Cheap Freaking Gas!!!
There's a station near me run by a local grocery chain. They have frequent shopper cards where you can earn cents off of a gallon of gas. Yesterday, they had their gas at $3.87 but they were closed. With so many people using their discount cards, they actually ran out of gas.

Cheap Freaking Gas!!!
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 23, 2008 -> 03:42 PM) I am sure Flaxx and Tex could tell us about the good old days of nickel gas... Back to the old days of vehicle fuel: oats, hay, and carrots.

CQ4MVP
They'll give it to Hamilton.

Hurricane Dolly Bearing Down on Me
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Jul 23, 2008 -> 04:17 PM) How had the turtle nesting season been going down there this year? Pretty much every nest that hadn't hatched out by now is toast. We lost an enormous number of nests in a better than average nesting season with the 2004 and 2005 storms. "Ever seen a turtle fly?"

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Jul 23, 2008 -> 01:26 PM) Bears need Charles Rogers as someone else stated. Very talented and was caught in a mess in Detroit. It's like a blackhole up there for football. He loves the Chronic as well, if I recall correctly.
