  1. The deadline is tonight (Wednesday) at 11pm!
  2. I remember seeing her in Mannequin as being surprised at how much younger she looked than she was on Golden Girls.
  3. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jul 22, 2008 -> 08:53 PM) I never though I'd see my hometown of Aurora on this list. Even though I'm not there anymore. Yeah. You went from above average to normal.
  4. Just say: Well, well hello, Dolly Well hello, Dolly It's so nice to have you back where you belong You're lookin' swell, Dolly We can tell, Dolly You're still glowin', you're still crowin' You're still goin' strong
  5. QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jul 22, 2008 -> 04:17 PM) Those poor Mongolians. Ga dam Mongorians, stop knocking down my shi'ty wall!
  6. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 22, 2008 -> 06:37 AM) It needs more The Bastard. Fixed
  7. LOL'ing Quentin and Cabrera's dugout high five.

  9. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 07:44 PM) I think if Sabean even suggested to his owner that he would recommend signing a pitcher to a 6 or 7 year contract for over $100 million he will either be immediately fired or moved to a rubber room. Zito and Sabathia are two totally different pitchers.
  10. QUOTE (sircaffey @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 07:27 PM) Not when it comes to the budget we aren't. San Fran doesn't have a true budget. They have a great park and an awesome fan base and good tourist setup. They don't have Bonds' contract, now Durham's. Outside of Zito, Winn and Rowand (as well as Roberts, Molina, Vizquel), there's not much of a huge consequence salary-wise left on that team. They have maybe $60 mil in salaries and could easily take on $30 or $40 mil more if they wanted. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/teams/roster?team=sfo
  11. QUOTE (tommy @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 07:24 PM) AROD hits #21, against Blackburn, 2-0 Yankees. Alex Rodriguez: King of Inconsequential Home Runs.
  12. You never know whether or not Halladay will be available. The Blue Jays are hard to figure out sometimes.
  13. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 03:01 PM) Not a chance in bloody hell. We're talking about a 25 Not a chance in bloody hell. We're talking about a 25 year old former #2 overall pick who put up an .807 OPS last year, you'd figure at least one (probably two) very good prospect(s) and a VERY good bullpen arm would have to be included. You know that I throw out trade scenarios just to piss you off.
  14. QUOTE (Yoda @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 02:40 PM) Ha! There is only one location listed from Indiana and it ranked #10 Yeah. Gary's on the other list, Yoda.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 12:45 AM) Say no to Fuentes. Last thing Sox need is another lefty in the pen. I've never thought that having too many lefties is a bad thing. Especially if they can get both lefties and righties out.
  16. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 02:41 PM) I can't see the Giants throwing out another 7 year deal to a pitcher. We're talking about Sabean here.
  17. CC will be in SF, AZ or LAD probably. He wants to be on the west coast, in the NL.
  18. QUOTE (rangercal @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 03:17 AM) I was at a Rockies/mets game about a week ago and I noticed every guy in The Rockies lineup was white. Every guy in the Home Run Derby was white as well.

    The Dark Knight

My personal preference would be Clay Face for the sheer variety and plot options, but his creation is too unrealistic.

    Pizza

I had a pizza at Aurelio's in the Holiday Inn on Harrison Street - near the Sears Tower, when I stayed there last year. I thought that it was pretty good.
  21. Overrated means that they performed decently but their press makes them overblown into super-stardom. Think of the Derek Jeter of NFL football.
