I figure it this way if the money is close between the 2 deals, I believe he will sign here because he already has said publicly even that he and his wife would love to stay in Chicago...advantage Sox!!

Well you look at it this way... when you are competing with 6 other teams for 1 pitchers services, someone is going to have to overpay...I don't mind overpaying so that we don't have to see Grilli or any other pitcher of his lack of caliber losing every 5th day!!

I would certainly take a look at Millwood, if he is healthy maybe take a shot at him. I would prefer Clement or Perez maybe first.

I'd say send Cotts back to AAA and let him get back to being a starter and have Schoney out of the pen. Since Schoney would refuse then ship him out in a trade or non tender him I guess.

Its too bad that Schoney isn't more open to being in the bullpen. I think he is solid enough to help the pen out quite a bit. I just don't see him as an everyday starter. IMO

Another thing I was thinking of with AJ is the big complaint in SF is that he'd rather watch the Twins play than work with pitchers but that wouldn't happen here for the simple fact that in most times the Twins play the Sox are normally playing as well. So he wouldn't have time to f*** off like that. IMO
