With the A-rod trade pretty much a done deal I was thinking is this the greatest offensive line-up ever assembled? Lofton, Jeter, Sheffield, A-rod, Giambi, Matsui, B-Williams, Posada...I'm not sure who the 2nd basemen is gonna be, but who f***in cares. Hell, by June the Yanks will proably add Bret Boone to play 2nd base and give up a couple of minor leaguers. Tell me what you guys think...

I'm ready for some baseball...Regardless of the White Sox right now. With the Bulls sucking ass and football being over I need baseball more than ever...I'm actually lookin forward to watchin some of these new look teams like the Red Sox, Orioles, Angels, Phillies. As far as the Sox go. We need a lot of things to go right if were gonna win this division. Things that I don't think r impossible either by the way. For one Garland needs to break out. After that I say the most important things r Willie Harris and Aaron Rowand proving they can be Productive everday players. After that we need Billy Koch to revert back to 2002 Billy Koch or atleast 90% of it. After that we need Person, Shoenweis, Rauch or whoever step in and be that quality 4th starter we desperately need. If we get all these things to happen we've got a great shot at the playoffs...

I think Maggs will hit .325, 35 hr's, 135 rbi's this year. He's gonna make sure that he gets his 15 mill a year...

I might go as far to call Vlad when healthy the BEST player in baseball. The guy hits for average, extra base hits, power, can fly, and is a tremendous defensive player, with an outstanding throwing arm...

It's the same thing when u think about it. I'm not sayin Oakley knows as much about basketball as Maddux does about baseball. But the general idea is the same. Bring in a vet to help the young kids. Guys like Garland, Cotts, Rauch or whoever r not gonna become better pitchers because we brought Maddux or any other vet in. And once again Maddux is not worth what he's askin...

It's just to good to be true. I don't even believe it. Even if I knew we could keep Maggs I still might do that trade. Garcia had an off year last year. But look at his win total the prior 3 years. Plus he's only 27. I don't even have to mention how cold Soriano is...Add the fact that he's 24 and will only get better. Then you have Winn who is one of the most UNDERRATED players in the gm to somewhat fill the void left by Maggs. An unbeliveble trade for us. Now let me wake my ass up...
