QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 12, 2011 -> 09:54 PM) LOL, it's a joke because I always complain that people continue to respond to the person I ignore, which forces me to see it. lmao. Really? What kinda ignore feature is that, then? What's the point? I've never ignored anybody. So I didn't know.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 12, 2011 -> 09:55 PM) I was there over the weekend, didn't hear a single thing about the Red Sox or the Rays' run. That was likely due to football just beginning, though. Read through the game threads. They make ours look like Sesame Street.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 12, 2011 -> 09:41 PM) 12.5 per year is most I go. I don't think he'll bite at that though, and my prediction is he's traded back to the Rangers. f*** that. I'd rather him walk than deal him to the Rangers. That team is already too good. Unless they want to throw Profar back at us.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 12, 2011 -> 09:39 PM) Stop quoting him damnit! Why?

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 12, 2011 -> 09:29 PM) That would be so awesome. Imagine that Boston team not even making it to the playoffs. They'd change the division/playoff format in a month. You think it's bad here? Check out Sons of Sam Horn. I can't believe the s*** they get away with there. Some poster made fun of Jon Lester's past cancer or whatever the hell he had yesterday. They're in full-blown meltdown mode.

Rays have David Price and Wade Davis going the next two days. Red Sox have Tim Wakefield and John Lackey going the next two days. There's a damn good chance that Tampa could go into Boston on Thursday trailing by a single game.

Look at the f***in' Rays. Won again. Only 3 games behind Boston now. And they've got Price going against Alfredo Simon tomorrow while Boston is throwing out Tim Wakefield and his 8 something ERA since July IN Toronto and their mashers. My bad. The series is in Boston. Still, I like the Rays' chances of cutting the deficit to two games.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 12, 2011 -> 09:08 PM) It's scary as hell to think of what happens if they bring in Reyes or Aramis, etc. No reason in the world for them to not be the class of the AL Central the next few years. I still think Scherzer is the second best pitcher (at least stuff wise) in the division. If he ever puts it together for a full season? Ouch.
