  1. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 08:50 PM) I don't think we are going to make the playoffs Which sucks. This draft doesn't project to be very deep. Unlike last year when studs like Winslow, Turner, Lyles and Booker all went 10th or later.
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 08:35 PM) Fred or Vinny? Death not an option. Brad Stevens?
  3. QUOTE (ozzfest @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 05:12 PM) This roster is sh** even when healthy. Big difference between not a legitimate title contender and s***. The Lakers? That's s***.
  4. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 8, 2016 -> 09:16 PM) Mario Hezonja got some swagger to him... What he do?
  5. I'll never forget Kalapse's Freddy Garcia sig from 2006. #epic
  6. Incredible second-half performance by OKC. Kanter is clownin' GS.
  7. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 6, 2016 -> 01:29 PM) Mods, hold him to that post. They won't have to. The Warriors are making this the most boring season I can remember. Ever. The Thunder are the only team in the league that can match, or at least come close to, the Warriors from a pure talent standpoint. If they (the Thunder) get rolled tonight, i'm done.
  8. If the Warriors violate the Thunder tonight I'm done with the nba until May.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Feb 3, 2016 -> 08:28 PM) Most exciting basketball player I have ever seen. Does it without world class athleticism That he is. Like I said before, if you don't get GS this year, you're not going to get them for a while. Their 4 best players are 27 and younger. They're so tailor-made for the modern nba it's silly. It's just like when the Bulls took off in the 90's. Magic got HIV, Bird's back broke, the Pistons got old and you had expansion left and right that thinned out all the rosters. MJ+PIP+PF=Game over. Same for the Warriors.
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 29, 2016 -> 05:18 PM) There's a 0 percent chance the Bulls are getting to the finals. I agree that they're not blowing anything up but they're not getting to the finals either. You troll. It could happen. #jpFromAngelsInTheOutfield
  11. The Warriors have missed like 10 layups tonight. They could easily be up 40-45.
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 11:05 PM) Spurs getting run off the floor right now. Steph on fire tonight and the Spurs aren't sharp. Not a good combo. Youth, speed, length and athleticism. The Warriors have the advantage in all four. I mean you already knew that coming in. But damn. It's just painfully obvious. Also, Tony Parker, at almost 34 years old and 15 years in the league, cannot guard steph. I mean at all. And you can't have KL chasing him around for 35-40 minutes.
  13. Am I the only one who thinks Toronto could take Cleveland? I've watched a few of their games in the last week or so. These boys can play. They're legit 10-deep. They're athletic, versatile, and can go small on you without losing much on the boards or defensively.
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 24, 2016 -> 01:55 PM) Pop sitting Duncan tomorrow. He's just the worst. He's the most annoying/great coach in sports. His foolishness cost the Spurs of at least a trip to the conference finals last year.
  15. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jan 23, 2016 -> 01:38 PM) Draft day trade. Dude is reaching so much. Oh my goodness. I hate on the Bulls A LOT. But even I'm not that bad. a 1996 trade draft day trade? #nonsense.
  16. QUOTE (ozzfest @ Jan 23, 2016 -> 12:58 PM) You are right. Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Shaq, James Harden, Ray Allen, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Kawhi Leanord, Kevin Love, Lamarcus Aldridge. None of those guys were traded. ?
  17. God I can't wait until Monday. I don't think I've ever been as hype for a regular season game as I will be for this one.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 22, 2016 -> 10:44 PM) Steps Curry is so much fun He might hit 400 3's this year. He's already got 200.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 21, 2016 -> 08:48 AM) Showtime? They're right there. Run TMC is right there as well. And it's college, but I think the fab five were all-time level box office as well. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jan 21, 2016 -> 09:50 AM) They are making LeBron an afterthought and as a fair weather basketball fan, I am cool with that. The Spurs are the most underrated franchise in sports. I said yesterday that 2013 might be the last title LeBron sees if he stays with Cleveland. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 21, 2016 -> 09:57 AM) With the Warriors/Spurs/Hawks right now (hawks the lesser), I really have to just exit the conversatoin when someone claims they like college basketball because they the NBA is "just a bunch of one-on-one". Well it was true for a while. 1996-2004 was some of the worst/ugliest/inefficient basketball I've ever seen. The star power was always there. But the team game. Oh my god. It was gross. I applaud the league for cleaning all that s*** up. I think coaching and schemes are much better. Analytics have played a role. The international players have played a role. I'm sorry. If people still think it's still an iso game, they just don't like the nba. simple as that. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 21, 2016 -> 10:16 AM) I have actually heard some NBA commentators say the Warriors are the worst thing to ever happen to basketball. Of course a lot of that was driven by a jealous Mark Jackson. I do agree if the whole league played like the Warriors it would actually be really bad for the game / brand. I wouldn't quite call it an all star game, but it would be close to that equivalent and the NBA all star game is absolutely horrific (outside of getting to view some stars joking with each other and some crazy plays). Warriors are fun because they are unique in there style and amazing at what they do. If the league moves to be more like them, I think it will be bad. Than again, Spurs don't play like them and they are fine. Reality is each team needs to play according to there talents and there are many ways you can win a title, most importantly, under almost any scenario, you have to have a superstar. I don't pay any attention to guys who played in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Every retired player in history of any sports is going to look at their time as the golden era and s*** on what's going on today. old crusty farts. that's all they are to me.
  20. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 21, 2016 -> 11:59 AM) You mentioned box office From a box office/entertainment perspective, I don't think we've seen anything like the Warriors You just like to argue. I don't know what's so hard to understand. Stylistically, they're more fun to watch than the 90's Bulls teams. That's just my opinion. Do I think they're better? No. Just more fun to watch as a whole.
  21. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 21, 2016 -> 05:36 AM) And tthe warriors still aren't as socially significant as the Jordan/Pippen/Rodman Bulls. That was as Rock Star as an NBA team has ever been. And Hakeem individually wasn't nearly Magic or Bird at the box office. Again, I said nothing about social, cultural or economic impact. I'm talking pure basketball. On the court. 48 minutes. 94 feet. The way the Warriors constantly move, cut, pass and ultimately shoot, there's never been anyone like them. they put up a stat last night stating that the Warriors have 20 games this year with at least 30 assists as a team. there's still half the season to go. The next two highest, the spurs and hawks, have a combined 17.
  22. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 20, 2016 -> 10:26 PM) For the love of God, there was no box office draw like Michael Jordan. He sold out every arena he played. Miami retired his freaking number. He makes more money selling shoes almost 20 years later a year than he made playing basketball. But they are a lot of fun to watch. If they win the West, there really is no need to play the Finals. They should save the East champ the embarrassment, gmab. you know what i meant. i was talking teams. of course if we're going individuals it would be michael. followed by kobe and hakeem. that's just out of guys i've seen play in real time.
  23. From a box office/entertainment perspective, I don't think we've seen anything like the Warriors. These guys are so f***ing fun to watch. Only team that comes close to me are the SSOL Suns.
  24. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jan 20, 2016 -> 03:25 PM) The next season after the 62 win season they finished 5th in the NBA in O-Rating. Also, the Spurs might have one of the best teams in history so far and they're 23rd in pace and 26th in 3PA. There's always a best way to win until it's not. Wow, I thought you were lying. 5th? The same team except you have a broke down Rip Hamilton in place of Keith Bogans. Well, that was the lockout year. Idk. But I don't believe for a second that Bulls team could've beaten the Heat.
