  1. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 7, 2016 -> 07:16 PM) 0-4 last 4 playoff games #rentfree
  2. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 4, 2016 -> 08:05 PM) ... Ha. I still don't think Cleveland will beat GS/SA.
  3. Ok, people. Yes, I tend to exaggerate at times. I know this. But i'm literally witnessing the greatest single-game playoff performance EVER. I mean EVER. The Spurs didn't even do the Heat this dirty. LeBron, I hate to say this. But 2/7 in on the horizon for you, sir. Cleveland ain't beatin' either one of GS/SA. Just not gonna happen.
  4. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 17, 2016 -> 11:24 AM) True. I just hate those four words: "out for the playoffs." You just know somebody or somebodies are going to go down that will alter the big picture of the playoffs between now and June.
  5. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 11:49 PM) Chris Paul breaks a bone in his right hand. This playoffs sucks ass and that is a monster break for the Warriors. Could be out for the rest of the playoffs i'm hearing. f***in' pathetic.
  6. QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 11:40 AM) This stinks that we won't get a full strengh Warriors - Spurs series. That was destined to be one for the ages. I think the Spurs might have taken them anyway, but the excuse is already there. Well, that's kind of a pretty legit excuse if he's hobbled or, even worse, can't play. Anything official yet?
  7. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 11:35 AM) That only works if your roster is 12 Josh Smiths Haha. True.
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 10:46 AM) Truly terrible modern NBA coach. He had a bad roster, and made sure it was as bad as possible. Some coaches do deserve second chances due to crappy roster, but Scott is just done. When you come in talkin' about shooting less three pointers your ship pretty much sailed in 1989.
  9. QUOTE (soxfan85 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 11:02 AM) Or, that the NL is completely horrendous...which it is QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 11:04 AM) Lets wait and see what the cubs look like against the nationals or better teams. They are feasting on crap right now. They're doing what they're supposed to do. And outside of Fowler/Montero, their entire offense is underachieving - for now.
  10. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 09:35 AM) Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo a combined 19-for-91 (.209) to start season. And they're 11-3? That's terrifying for the rest of baseball.
  11. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 12:10 AM) The Warriors could definitely just rest Curry the rest of this series if they needed to. The Rockets are garbage. Dwight Howard needs to quit. My god has he fallen hard. I'd take at least a dozen centers over him right now.
  12. The Claw repeats as DPOY. http://www.nba.com/2016/news/04/18/kawhi-l...l_tw_sf24561993 Shame we didn't have all the advanced data in the 90's that we have now. Scottie would've gotten at least one.
  13. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 17, 2016 -> 09:41 PM) Yep. The bottom of the West sucks and the top is awesome. The only series that has a chance to be interesting at all in the West is the Blazers series and even there I don't think the Blazers have a real shot but Lillard and McCollum are really fun to watch and they can steal a couple of games. To be fair, the Grizzlies are missing Conley and Gasol and the Mavs are without Parsons. Houston just sucks all the way around. They were my sleeper finals pick before the season started. My worst prediction since I had the Knicks as the second best team in the east behind Miami in '12.
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 17, 2016 -> 11:16 AM) Doesn't matter in the big picture of the playoffs but it's definitely robbing us of what could have been a pretty epic series between Boston and Atlanta. True. I just hate those four words: "out for the playoffs." You just know somebody or somebodies are going to go down that will alter the big picture of the playoffs between now and June.
  15. Hasn't been confirmed yet. But it looks like Avery Bradley could be out for the playoffs. Huge bomb for the Celtics. So sick of these types of injuries happening every f***ing postseason. Would just like to see one postseason in which nobody gets hurt.
  16. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 11:31 AM) I know it's still pretty early, but I think it should be noted that Eaton is currently leading all of MLB with 5 DRS. The move from CF is obviously having a massive positive effect on his defense, and I'm happy Hahn was smart enough to bring in Jackson who, while he needs to start hitting more, has really alleviated the pressure on Eaton on Cabrera to make plays. DRS reference on April 16th? C'mon, dude.
  17. Much like when Kobe upstaged Championship Sunday in 2006 with his 81 point performance, he does the same on a night the Warriors make epic history. I can't even remember an nba that didn't have Kobe in it. Nuts. As has been stated, he was magnificent in the 4th quarter against a REALLY good defensive team in the Jazz.
  18. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Apr 10, 2016 -> 09:24 PM) Woohooo!!! I'm out celebrating this major victory for my Warriors. Best team in history!!
  19. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 10, 2016 -> 08:31 PM) Probably one of the few Bulls fans out there rooting for GS to break that record. Happy it will probably happen. They will have earned it. They were one of the more disrespected champions in quite some time last offseason.
  20. Warriors beat Spurs. 72-9 with a home game against Memphis to close it out.
  21. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 10, 2016 -> 01:39 AM) Why do we want Jo or Pau? It won't happen. But I wouldn't mind Pau at all as a sixth man. Kinda like what the Thunder have done with Kanter (though the contract they signed him to is deplorable). It's neutralizes his defensive ineptitude. Kanter is god-like offensively and on the boards, much like Gasol. Keep his minutes contained, as he's gonna tear apart most teams second units.. Gasol, even at his age, would thrive just as Kanter has. But Gasol would never go for that and i'm sure wants one more big payday before calling it quits. As for Noah? That's pure emotion right there. Makes me sick. Noah has been crap since Nene/Gortat toasted his ass in the '14 playoffs.
  22. QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 11:40 PM) I am pretty confident Spurs will take it. Second night of a back to back for Warrios and Spurs have been incredible at home this year. No way they come this far to a perfect season at home and then bend over to their rivals right before the playoffs. I hope that's the case. Pop is a GREAT coach, obviously. But he's stubborn. He cost the Spurs HC last year because he was dead-set on resting guys the last week of the season. And if the Warriors do win, I want them to have earned it.
  23. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 09:30 PM) And the Warriors get away with multiple blatant fouls to protect their lead. That win goes to the refs. Didn't see the game. Though I'll concede Green does get away with a lot. Anyway, I wanted the Warriors to win tonight. The Warriors/Spurs game tomorrow is EXTREMELY interesting now. We know the Warriors want and our going for the record. How much does Pop and company want to deny them and how much do they want to go 41-0 at home? Interesting stuff.
  24. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 12:39 AM) First time I've thought they won't get the record. No way they beat SA both games. They had their chance. All they had to do was take care of business at home against much more inferior competition.
  25. QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 6, 2016 -> 12:27 AM) Yeah, what a shock. Definitely got sloppy down the stretch, which made me think it was a bit of a choke. Minnesota has some really good young talent though. Towns, I mean, good god. He might be a top 5 player next year. If the Wolves botch this they should be eradicated completely.
