  1. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 12, 2014 -> 10:46 AM) Which has been my point all along. I've been about the only one saying it and I will keep saying it. Even without Deng (when healthy), this is one of the 3-5 best teams in the East. It will be almost impossible for them to collect a lottery pick and I really am surprised the Bulls couldn't have gotten an unprotected 1st rounder for Deng (at some point in the future). If they want to rebuild, I almost think they should look to try and land a bunch of first rounders in the next 2 years (forget this years draft where the 1st rounder will be impossible). If you can move Noah for a bunch of 1st rounders from a team that might be in the lottery in the next few years, that wouldn't look so bad. However, I think the Bulls are probably lining things up to make a big trade or two this off-season. Can you please stop saying the bolded? You might be right. But it's hardly something to get loud about. This is a two team conference cluttered with underachieving, injury-stricken, tanking absolute horses***. A real FO with eyes on the future does everything in their power to ensure they get a shot at a top 5 pick in a lost season. These fools are still trying to compete.
  2. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 12, 2014 -> 07:06 PM) Is a AAA start even an option? And don't start screaming Puig. We're paying Abreu far more. He'd have to go 0 or 1 for the spring to start the season in AAA.
  3. With the 19th pick in the 2014 nba draft aka the most loaded draft since '84 or '96, the Chicago Bulls select *insert non-impact roleplayer* f***in' morons. Can't do s*** right. The demolition should've started 1.5 seconds after Rose went down.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 04:14 PM) I called you bandwagonner because you slobber on the knobs of anything that wins. You are the Taylor Swift of basketball fans. Then you flip out when others don't give the handjobs that you are giving out. Ok, you can be one of those dopey fans that perpetually hates on winning teams because your team sucks. I have higher standards than you, obviously. The Bulls are ratchet and I will treat them as ratchet until they do something legitimate.
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 02:05 PM) Right. Because I have been praising this organization. You're high or something. You call me a bandwagon fan because I respect/give praise to winning organizations. You know, WINNING. That's kind of like the most important thing in sports. If that's a bandwagoner, then I'm a bandwagon Yankees, Patriots, Lakers, s***, even Red Wings fan and Hockey's not even a sport. Then you say I'm a hater even though in 16 damn years the Bulls have been to one conference final and are universally acknowledged as boring/lame/stale/limp and then you turn around and say you don't praise them either. Stop smokin' so much.
  6. I disapprove. Until Hahn get a legitimate left-handed middle of the order power hitter and shuts Lillian up forever, he's failed.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 11:47 AM) As opposed to you acting like the hater fat pimple faced girl when ever the Bulls are mentioned? You've jumped on more bandwagons that Kim Kardashian. lol. Yeah, because the Bulls are due some neverending praise for their accomplishments since the bald guy retired 16 f***ing years ago. Lame ass fans such as yourself are the reason this franchise is so boring.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 08:55 AM) I also appreciate when bandwagon fans lecture people on who they can and can't root for... Says the grown man who acts like a 13-year old who got dissed by the girl he likes in favor of the more popular, bigger, better-looking 16-year old whenever the Heat are mentioned.
  9. QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 9, 2014 -> 03:52 PM) I don't think I can even root for the guy You rooted for an adulterer who punched teammates in the face and called a guy he drafted a flaming f***ing f***** who also was a compulsive gambler and has people to this day that still believe his gambling led to a suspension and his father getting wacked. You could root for a guy who's only sin in life is a f***ing espn special.
  10. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jan 9, 2014 -> 06:46 PM) LEBRON IS NOT COMING TO CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zoom and I finally agree on something. Boring front office? Check Injury prone former superstar? Check Horses*** winters? Check.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 09:42 PM) Seriously. The Heat are saving Greg Oden, to play against the NBA's best centers in the playoffs. That is like saying the Sox are saving Frank Thomas to hit against tough lefties in the world series. Seriously, like, what are the Heat saving him for? July brunch? You're blinded by your hate and you know it. It's a damn shame that Quinnary who's 13 is like 10 times more mature than you are.
  12. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 09:21 PM) The pot comment was a joke added on to legitimate basketball issues. He's improved those issues a bit. He also has a fair number of DNP-CD's though. Chris Anderson matters significantly more than Beasley because they don't have several other bigs they trust when it matters. That severely limits his "impact". I'll put it this way: if a Bulls' fan comes on here talking trash about a guy that's playing 18 MPG, you'd lose your s***. Beasley is literally getting fewer minutes per game than Tony Snell. You know what, I'm lost. I say every legit move the Heat has made since 2010 (lol@eddy curry) has worked out and you say "lol, the Heat have no assets outside of the big 3". WTF cares about assets? They've got the best player in the world, the third best sg of all-time, and a PF/C who does EVERYTHING and you talk about assets. They've brought in Allen, Battier, Anderson, Beasley, Cole to fill out the roster and they have another potential dynamic wildcard (yes, a HUGE risk) in Oden in waiting and you talk about future assets? Makes no sense. How many future assets did the Bulls have from '96 to '98? And it's a lot harder to fill out a team now that it was then.
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 09:12 PM) Thought what? I havent commented about the refs in over a season, so I have no clue what you are talking about. Go find the last time I complained about refs, seriously its gotta be 9 months ago? My comments in this thread about reffing have been that Wisconsin wont be negatively impacted by the new ref rules because they dont foul a lot. I have no clue what you are talking about, which is why I dismissed you as the stalking troll you are. lol. You're lucky the search function hasn't worked in years. Because you are awful and terrible when it comes to refs and I would expose you but I'm not googling for who knows how long to prove it.
  14. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 09:04 PM) You of all people are in the college basketball thread? Why dont you go back to pretending you know something about the sport in the NBA thread. Stalkers are scarey. That's what I thought.
  15. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 09:00 PM) Please point out where I used the phrase "star". I'm too lazy to look up your original quote, but I'm sure it was something like "lol, they got Beasley, it's over." A large part of my point was that his role on the team would be so minor that it's not really going to matter. He's playing .1 more minutes per game than Rashard Lewis, who's been done for 4 years. He's played well in an extremely limited number of minutes on the year. So have Rashard Lewis and James Jones at times in the past. That's still a long way from being a guy that actually matters in a playoff series. I said the Heat got another potential impact guy for basically nothing, ala Chris Anderson. You said "hahaha, he smokes pot and he's not good and he'll bring the defense down" and whatever else. Now you're saying that he's playing well but that the Heat are so good that it doesn't matter? Or that you want to see him do this in the playoffs? I'm confused. Edit: Actually, I think it was 2k5 that said Michael Beasley would singlehandedly take the Heat defense down from elite to average. But I already served him so it doesn't matter.
  16. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 08:58 PM) No its always the refs. Wait a minute. Are YOU of all people mocking Illinois fans for ref bashing/obsessing? You? Just tell me know so I can kill myself. The blood is on you.
  17. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 08:40 PM) Beasley is playing well...in about 18 MPG. He's 7th on the team in that category and barely above Anderson and Lewis. He's also stayed on the bench for a bunch of games. DJ Augustin will probably have more minutes played for the Bulls than Beasley does the entire season by this time next week. Hardly the orgasm-worthy potential impact player you made him out to be. The Heat have added some nice role players, but their 4th best player is still Mario f***ing Chalmers. Oh my goodness. I challenge you or anybody to find where I said Beasley would be a superstar or even a f***ing all-star and if you do I'll ask Kyyle or Rowand to change my name to greg776. I said he could potentially flourish in a secondary role with Miami and he's done just that. You said he would be a bust from jump. You wouldn't even acknowledge the potential reward.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 07:28 PM) You are telling me that Greg Oden, who can't cross the street without breaking a leg, is being saved by the Heat to take on the best centers in NBA for the playoffs, and I am the one who doesn't get it? You have said some dumb things in the NBA thread, but this one owns all. Says the dude that went and looked up Erik Spoelstra's contract info and said that's the only reason he's f***ing such a hot b****. lol. Get over it. It's done.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 07:11 PM) LMAO and Are you serious is right. Dude, your Heat hate is so high that you legitimately thought I was endorsing Norris Cole as a superstar because he has two rings. Go back to the huddle with the rest of the angry, jealous, bitter Bulls fans who still can't get over the Decision.
  20. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 05:47 PM) LOL, right. They have so many amazing assets outside of the big 3. Yeah, you were dead wrong about Beasley. #JimmyButlerWillBeTheDifference QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 05:55 PM) How many minutes has Greg Oden played this year? Oh yeah, none. Lmao. Are you serious? Why the hell would they risk Oden In December against the Bucks, Magic and Raptors? Not every coach is as shortsighted as Thibs. They're saving Oden for Hibbert, Duncan/Dwight in May/June. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 06:56 PM) Yeah, that Eddy Curry signing really worked out well. Surprised the s*** out of me. This dude said Eddy Curry. Please. He was regular season roster filler. They'd have to discontinue food all together before a basketball genius such as Pat Riley would even think of counting on Eddy Curry for a postseason run.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 05:05 PM) So, let's be honest. The Heat are clearly going to sign Bynum for league minimum. And then the rest of the board will say what an awful signing it is and it'll never workout despite the fact every move the Heat have made since July, 2010 has worked out.
  22. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 3, 2014 -> 11:30 PM) /CP3 Down to Bron/George/KD for MVP.
  23. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 3, 2014 -> 05:48 PM) Well, that's as expected, but I still think Michael Carter Williams will be "Good". He's still seems like he's gonna be a steals machine as he gets better, and his rebounding has been good too. He's an all-star once his J becomes competent. If he develops a post game (he's bigger than most pgs), he'll really be good.
  24. Can somebody explain to me the horror that is Anthony Bennett? I mean wtf. This is worse than Kwame Brown, Olawacandi, etc.
  25. So painful to watch KG at this point. Dude has been one of my favs since the Super Nintendo era. I'd honestly take Carlos Boozer over him and it's not even close. That's sad.
