McCarthy Watch
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 5, 2007 -> 02:53 PM) Quick to update that one... LOL. I was thinking the exact same thing. Tizzle takes his sweet ol' time updating B-Mac's terrible outings.

If Barry Bonds has a huge season...
QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ May 5, 2007 -> 03:40 PM) Bonds just added to his MVP repertoire today with another homer putting him at 744. He's been amazing this year.

Nothing to say. Terrible performance all-around. They just need to forget about this game ASAP. The goal for any team starting out on the road is to get 1 of the first 2 games. They can still do that. Game 2 is critical.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 3, 2007 -> 11:41 PM) Holy mother f***. WHAT. A. QUARTER. Normally I would say just slow the game down, but f*** that. Just do what you do boys. I want a Warriors/Suns conference final. First team to 140 wins. LMAO! I went to check out a Dallas message board and here's what it said... This board is temporarily shut down due to the volume of spam taking over the site. We will be back soon... LMAO! They're going to riot in Dallas tonight.

Warriors up 18. Move over 1994 Sonics, a new team is about to take your title as biggest chokers in NBA history. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 3, 2007 -> 11:28 PM) I've missed most of the third quarter, just returned from late nite. How has GS pulled away like this? Stephen Jackson. Stephen Jackson. Stephen Jackson. LMAO! Barnes just gave Dirk a facial. LMAO!

trade for an outfielder
QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 3, 2007 -> 05:33 PM) If KW could pull off that coup, I'd personally fellate him. Ethier is a stud in the making. Excuse my ignorance, but what the hell does fellate mean? lol.

QUOTE(Sonik22 @ May 3, 2007 -> 10:48 PM) Baron Davis is quickly becoming my favorite non-bulls player! 50-48 Golden State at the half. What's so frustrating it that he has the talent to play like he has been all the time. Injuries, conditioning, and b-ball I.Q. has always been what's held him back. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 3, 2007 -> 10:51 PM) Baron is still having a rough go of it on D which could hurt a lot. Hopefully he comes out loose in the 2nd half Yeah, hopefully an injury doesn't decide this series. If the Mavs come back and win, so be it. But I don't want it to be because the best player by far in the the series got hurt.

Pretty even game thus far. Looks like Baron is fine. It's going to be a crazy final 24 minutes. Moment of truth time for the Warriors.

BA Sighting
QUOTE(danman31 @ May 3, 2007 -> 08:09 PM) Haeger 4 IP, 3 R (2 ER), 8 BB (wow) Charlotte's game 1 box score BA already 0-1 in game 2. Russell starting for the Barons tonight. McCulloch 2.1 IP, 11 R (5 ER)- his poor year continues. Carter with his 4th HR and Edwards went 6 strong for Kanny. Haeger has been trash this year. Poor Brian.

More Gio Praise
I hated losing this kid in 2005. So happy to have him back. I know others have their doubts, but I've been a believer for quite some time now. Even if Floyd flops, getting Gio back was worth a rapidly declining Freddy Garcia.

White Sox loser
QUOTE(StrangeSox @ May 1, 2007 -> 11:48 PM) Have the sox blown out a single team this year? Hard to do that when your offense is ranked last or close to last in batting average, runs, hits, OBP and SLG.

The Greg Walker Lynch mob thread
I'm not ready to fire Walker, but who would we replace him with if he were to be fired? I keep hearing he should go but no names to replace him.

White Sox loser
This offense is a joke. It's f***ing embarassing. Jarrod f***in' Washburn? Who don't we make look like Nolan Ryan in his prime? Something needs to be done.

Wow, I thought G.S. had this game won when they went up 112-106. Dallas has scored the last, what, 12 points? This very well could come back and bite the Warriors in the you-know-what. When you have a team down, you have to finish them. They better win game 6. They're not winning game 7 in Dallas.

Chris Young does something good (while not on the sox, f'in kenny)
QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Apr 30, 2007 -> 11:12 PM) Young hit 2 HRs today. He's also got an RBI single. It's just a matter of time before he starts doing what we all expect him to do.

Tim Lincecum
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 30, 2007 -> 01:23 AM) I don't even think its a shot on the Sox. I just think it sounds flat out stupid to make a statement, almost implying the Sox did something wrong to be at 25. The Giants can have Tim Lincecum and the number 10 pick, I'll take my 90 wins and the number 25 pick. You might be right. I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not. I thought he really thought he was taken at #25.

Tim Lincecum
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 29, 2007 -> 11:58 PM) Sarcasm? Wasn't Lin taken 10th. Indeed he was. You know Tizzle, though. He lives to take any kind of shot at the White Sox minor leagues, scouts, ect. You know it kills him inside that Freddy and B-Mac are flat awful right now.

What a wonderful performance by our Bulls. The Heat suck and are done for the next 5 years or so. Bulls vs Pistons. Just like old times. I'm sure there's going to be hundreds of flashbacks to the late 80's, early 90's battles. And I have just one thing to say to John Paxson: THANK YOU FOR NOT TRADING LUOL DENG OR BEN GORDON FOR GASOL!
