Lets go for the throat. Tuesday is in essence the season for the Astros. I hope the guys come out like starving sharks in game 3. And what's with all this Oswalt talk anyway? Yeah, I know he's good. But Garland ain't chopped liver, either. He didn't win 18 games, make the all-star team, and throw a 4 hit, complete game against a very good Angels team on the road by accident.

I don't give a damn what ESPN, ESPN NEWS, Mike and Mike, the idiots at Fox, or anybody else has to say one way or another. This team is two wins away from a title. There's not a damn thing anybody can say to taint this for me.

I'm in complete and total shock. I was watching the game with a friend when Pods hit that hr. I didn't move, react, cheer or anything. I was just sitting there stunned. This is a team of destiny if I've ever seen one. Two more wins from a World Series title. I still can't fathom it.

Pettite's got a 4.66 ERA in his 3 postseason starts so far, so he hasn't been at his best. Given up almost a hit per inning, with a 12/6 K/BB ratio. Put simply, put the ball in play, and don't let him strike you out. Nice breakdown, Dbaho. I've seen two of Pettite's 3 post-season starts in the last couple weeks and he didn't look impressive in either. I hear he's still laboring from getting nailed "I can't remember where" from a rocket hit by I believe Reggie Sanders. With Buehrle going, I really like our chances in this one.

Baseball is a definitely a game of streaks. It's amazing to me how we're getting every break possible. How the hell did we get out of a 1st and 3rd no out jam in the 8th? This was shades of El Duque's Magic in game 3 against Boston. Crede is becoming a start right before our very eyes. Jose, who didn't have anywhere close to his best stuff, pitched an excellent game and gave us a chance to win. A true sign that he really has figured it out. 3 more wins.

I was lookin around and didn't see anything on this. Does anybody knows if there's gonna be any changes on roster? I've heard that B-mac or Gload could possibly replace Duque?

Konerko's dad shouldn't be saying anything right now. But it's not like he's not telling the truth. We could've locked him up a long time ago. Kenny chose not to basically because he wanted to see if Paul's 2004 year was the real deal or a fluke. Well, now that he knows it's the real deal, prepare to pay the piper.
