I'm likin what i'm hearin about this kid. I'm very pleased with our draft this year. It's gonna be fun followin these guys in the minors.

He's down to .274. But i'm not trippin. He'll be fine.

That's a very dumb comparison. He's the all-time saves leader in Japan. And has never given up a run in post-season play. As far as him closing gms in the major leagues. We've never seen him do it..Therefore you can't forge an opinion. We've seen Latroy close at the major league level, AND HE SUCKED.

I'm going by the history. History says he can't close..Until he proves otherwise that's my opinion on it.

I wouldn't. Clemens and Pettite have not only performed during the regular season. They're money pitchers come playoff time. Can't say the same for Wood, Prior, and especially Maddux. I'll take Oswalt over Zambrano. I'll take Miller over inconsistent Clement. All Redding has to do is keep his era around 4 and they're the best. I won't even get into the differences between Minute Maid Park "which is a hitters park" over "pitcher freindly wrigley".

He does it again..6 2/3 shut-out innings to improve to 9-0. This guy is so amazing. Like I said. When they get Pettite back their staff is just as good if not better than the Flubs. That's right..I said BETTER.

Tim Redding is their 5th starter. He had a very good 3.68 era last year. He's kinda struggling this year though. His era is over 5. If he can turn it around and get that era more towards last years that rotation when healthy is every bit as good as the Slubs.

A pitcher maturing? Like Billy Koch? If he matured he would actually be good? If you can't close you can't close.

Well, Rip isn't a creator. Everybody knows that. His gm is comin off screens ala Reggie Miller. But they didn't lose tonight because of Hamilton. The Pistons hurt themsevles with a lot of unforced turnovers. 5 2nd violations. But the gm would've been over had they been able to get a defensive rebound off that Kobe miss when they were up 6. I'm sick to my stomach. How many lives can 1 f***in team have? I go all the way back to 2000 when the Blazers were on the brink of winning. Or 2002 against the Kings when Divac tapped the ball to Horry for a gm winning 3. The Fluke Fisher shot against the Spurs. Now tonight..It f***in sickens me.

Hamilton played well. He gave Kobeena a lil too much room on that last 3 though. And If I hear Doc Rivers compare Kobeena to MJ 1 more f***in time i'm gonna f***in vomit. Mj never had the security blanket that Kobeena has with Shaq. Remember gm 1 of the series against the Rockets? The Flakers were down 1 with time winding down, Kobe throws up an airball yet Shaq picks it up and slam it..Lakers go on to win by 1. Tonight..Lakers r down by 6. Kobe takes a horrible lookin 3. It misses but Shaq is there for the offensive board and gets fouled. That was the big play.

The Flakers have to be the LUCKIEST team in the histrory of sports. How many prayers have been answered for this garbage ass team over the last 5 years? The big play believe it or not was the 3-point play by Shaq that cut it from 6 to 3. Kobe threw up a horrible shot that missed. If the Pistons get the defensive rebound the gm is essentially over. And why was Hamilton on Kobe at the end and not Prince who's longer and more athletic and has given Kobe problems? I just hope this loss doesn't demorilize the Pistons. They should beyond a shadow of a doubt be up 2-0 right now. I hope they take care of business at home.

Hopefully will have a big enough lead in the 9th to where that doesn't become a factor..If it does, Hopefully it's SHINGO time.

I'd happily do that job for 6 million bucks ..But, seriously guys. Unless we trade him we have to do somethin with him. He's makin too much money to just ride the pine.

Gordon is having a good year. Graffanino was having a good year before he got hurt. Everybody else pretty much stinks.

I'd still like to have Bartolo here for the right amount of money. He's struggling now. But he's too good not to be able to turn it around.

The guy saved 260 gms in japan. It's time to see what this guy can do in the states.

I like the sound of both of these guys.

What happens to Koch when Shingo is named the closer? What do you guys think is role will be?
