I'm gettin a lil worried. I was lookin for Reed to flat out dominate. Not like he did last year. But something close to it. I guess that injury is really holdin him back a little.

They've had the bases loaded with nobody out TWICE and failed to score both times. It's still a 3-3 game. But they could easily be up 4 or 5 runs right now.

He should just get the surgery. Your health comes before anything. Get that taken care of and come back next year. Like somebody else said. He's still very young.

I think it would be a HUGE confidence boost to play well on this west coast trip. That would really send a message to everybody that this really is a DIFFERENT White Sox team.

I think too much is being made of this. Rauch was no doubt wrong. But this is turning into a soap opera. I don't think players should decide the fate of another player. We're talkin about somebody's future. If Kenny wants to trade him then DO IT. I guess Kenny wants to cover his ass if he does decide to trade Rauch and he becomes a star somewhere else. Did you see his stats last year? And he's been at around .290 all this year while dealing with an injury.

Maybe they take a different approach? Thinking that they better score a lot of runs cause they know the 5th starter is gonna give up a lot of runs? Therefore they kinda mentally take themselves outta the game.

I'd be down with getting a guy like Simon for cheap. Like the Cubs did last year. For something like a lower level prospect. But I like what Paulie is doin right now. No real need to make a trade for a 1st baseman. Especially one that wouldn't play everyday anyway.

I realize he's had a heavy workload. But the numbers speak for themselves. I would love to have this guy. But the Giants aren't gonna trade their best pitcher when they're all of 2 gms outta 1st place.

Well, it didn't help that he flat out SUCKED.

He pitched 8 innings today giving up 1 run on TWO hits. He walked 4 and struck out 11. I would have loved to get this guy. But the Giants r rollin and r right back in the race.
