  1. Dude, I used to bring a pellet gun with me to school every day. To steal a line from Ray Liotta from the movie "Goodfellas":
  2. Jim, I hope that, in the end, all is well. I can't even begin to imagine what you and your family are going through. We were talking about how devastating Hurricane Charlie was just the other day it seems, and now this? Terrible....
  3. Well, after having evolved in an area that is strictly Italians and Polskis, I'd have to tell you that the lowest form of human life is the guy in the mustang. Don't do it. I've been pissing on the mustang/white castle "look at me" culture since before I can remember.
  4. I like Pink Floyd a lot too. I actually have over 100 Pink Floyd bootlegs, almost all of them 2CD sets. And it's almost all soundboard concerts and great audience quality stuff. One guy who has a list of 2000+ Pink Floyd shows sent me his Top 20 shows from 1972. Most of the great quality stuff is from 1977-1981, though. If you're ready to take the next step....www.bootlegzone.com Thousands of traders, and a good portion of them will trade you bootlegs for blank discs (usually at a rate of 3 to 1). After you build up a good base to trade from (50 to 100 bootlegs), the sky is the limit. You could find some stuff to download on the net, but the gaps between tracks really suck. When you go through traders and get exact copies of the originals, you get the concerts in their entirety without gaps -- priceless.
  5. I knew that someone else on here knew about chupacabras. Unfortunately, I don't get to listen to Art Bell on a regular basis, as he's on from 1 AM to 4 AM over here in Chicago. That guy is awesome. What's really amusing is that there are all these conspiracy theories that arise every time he quits.
  6. I swear, of the last 10 or so users to register on this site, Brando is like 7 of them. Check this guy out.
  7. Naah, it ain't like that. The major streets that cut through Chicago from top to bottom usually have a 35 MPH speed limit. There are exceptions here and there, of course.
  8. Jesus Christ I feel so much better about having had a taurus now.
  9. That was supposed to be in green, right? And Brando, you need to dummy it down a tad if you expect to get by with a new username. And try to have respek for other users. Cheers.
  10. Bob, you took the words right out of my mouth. I read that, and I was like..say what muhf***a?
  11. There she is! Ain't she a beauty? 1987 Red/Maroonish Ford Taurus
  12. Yeah, but then again, so will Dez White.
  13. Biggest steal of the decade, perhaps. The biggest steal of the 80s was Steve Young, and Holmgren was the QB coach for the 49ers back then IIRC.
  14. You know, it could be. But I'd have to look at Mike Holmgren first and foremost. And I remember an interview where Holmgren stated that Walsh taught him pretty much everything that he knows, so... Walsh 49ers: Montana, Young, Bono, etc. Holmgren Packers: Favre, Brunell, Warner, Brooks, Hasselback Those guys just know their s*** when it comes to quarterbacks. And being around Favre certainly helps, although I'm not sure how much it did for guys like Ty Detmer, Doug Pederson, Henry Burris, etc.
  15. You ain't never heard of El Chupacabra? They're miniature devils that are found in Mexico and Central America. They feast on goats. As a matter of fact, Chupacabra is spanish for "Goat Sucker". And I purchased one last year, mostly to keep the suckers at bay.
  16. That is my pet chupacabra. He's such a sweet little guy.
  17. Aaron Brooks was a low 4th round pick by Green Bay in that draft (131st overall), and he's better than McNown, Smith, and Couch combined. Think about that for a minute..... Just another great QB score by Green Bay. Let's see now, over the past 10 years or so, they've had Mark Brunell, Kurt Warner, Matt Hasselback, Aaron Brooks, etc backing up Brett Favre. That will tell you all you need to know about the Packers organization in comparison to the Bears organization. We dunno what the f*** we're doing.
  18. I think he's talking about reliever Ed Vosberg. I'll take a pass.
  19. I remember arguing with sox-r-us back in June that Houston was still a playoff caliber team (obviously), and he tried to argue that the Reds, Brewers, and Pirates are all better teams. That guy's gotta be eating buckets of crow right about now....sheesh.
  20. Buh bye, B-Rob. You should've been outta here ages ago.
