I heard via ESPN Radio that he's building a house in SoCal, so the Dodgers, Angels, etc. are on top of the list. But give an insane contract and anything can change. Reinsdorf never gives pitchers long contracts, anyway.

Swisher will be staying. It said in the paper that KW even gave him a hug and encouraged him for 2009. They'll need him as an option anyway in case they trade Konerko.

Why does tomorrows game depend on what the Red Sox do? Just decide it now and have them play around it? Yet another reason to hate Boston. Hey Cub Fans, this is what it feels like to win a playoff game!

I am not giving up. No one expected this team to even still be playing right now. After everything they've been through this year, I am proud of what they have accomplished. It says a lot for the job Ozzie has done, too. Now, if the Rays advance, I will root for them. Even though, they have fake fans who started showing up around Labor Day.

We will be back home, where obviously we play better. So let's see what happens. I honestly can see them handling Garza and Sonnestine.
