50 FAVORITE WHITE SOX PLAYERS
That gong was a great entrance for him into the game. Too bad he had a fall from grace so quickly.

50 FAVORITE WHITE SOX PLAYERS
If my dad was on this board, he'd say he was his favorite player. Hence the reason he was on the Nellie Fox Society. A group formed to get him into the Hall of Fame. It was a success.

50 FAVORITE WHITE SOX PLAYERS
Kittle was my favorite player as a child. He was very friendly when we met him when the Sox were training in Sarasota. He was fun to watch in the 80's.

Sox Fan Bernie Mac Dies
RIP. So young at only 50. I remember laughing my a$$ off at Kings of Comedy. He was one of the best.

Carmines vs. White Sox 6:05 CT WGN
I'll be there tonight. Looking forward to it. Let's hope that Jose's stay on the DL helps him return to early season form. It will be HUGE.

Are the White Sox "The Pretender"?
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 29, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) They probably have a Cubs fan picking the music and no one picked up on it or they all agreed it was appropriate. When then for the Cubs, we can play "100 Years" by Five for Fighting. That's only fitting as well.

AT&T Park
A great ballpark. I was there for the Sox/Giants series. A good assortment of hot dogs. Garlic fries are good. Didn't seem like a bad seat anywhere. You can even rent a bike and ride it to the park if you choose. Like The Cell, you can walk all the way around the park. But since you'll be there in the fall, bundle up. The bay is right there off of right field.

Which win was more enjoyable?
Yesterday. Anytime you can stick a dagger in heart of a division foe, I am all for it. There is a huge difference between having a team 4.5 out and 6.5 out.

Linebrink on DL, Wassermann Called Up
Not good. With the way our pen has been lately, this is bad news. Hopefully, KW has something going on.

White Sox Winner
QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 18, 2008 -> 09:12 PM) Tonight could be an excellent night. 1. Sox win 2. Cubs lose 3. Cards up 9-7 in the 8th. Hopefully their pen doesn't implode like usual. 4. Brewers up on SF and Sabathia is cruising. Minny won though.

Favorite Moments of First Half
There are games that come up, such as the 4 game crushing of the Twins, the 3-game home sweep of the Cubs. Especially, game 1 when Swish hit the bomb. But did we all think when the season started that Danks, Floyd, Quentin, Ramirez would be huge parts to the team? It was great to see them perform like that. And how about that lockdown bullpen? All those factors are huge reasons why we sit here at the All-Star Break, in 1st place.

Sox Interested in Duchscherer
I know it seems that Oakland an abundance of OF, especially with them now having Murton. But I wonder if they would throw in Anderson on top of whatever prospects we have.

Soxtalk Softball Part II
When I played 12", I was at 3B/OF. Preferably OF, though.
