  1. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 14, 2009 -> 08:47 AM) Read a preview of the upcoming Nip/Tuck season in today's Red Eye. I seriously think their writers consistently do acid. I know it's a terrible show but it's like watching a car wreck. It was great to see Keith from Scrubs on Fringe this week. SOA and Fringe are two of my favorite shows right now

I know it's a terrible show but it's like watching a car wreck. Nip/Tuck was a great show for the first three seasons of so.....then it just went from edgy to weird.
  3. QUOTE (hogan873 @ Oct 7, 2009 -> 10:15 AM) I haven't been to it, but I've heard that the Stateville Haunted Prison at Siegel's on Weber Rd. is good. I've worked that one in the past and it seems to be one of the better ones around.

  7. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Sep 6, 2009 -> 06:03 AM) Have you ever noticed that you can usually tell what a woman will look like by the sound of her voice? Hot chicks usually sound hot and ugly chicks usually sound ugly. Most of the time, if I hear a hot voice over the phone, it turns out the chick is pretty hot. Back when i was at SIU and they had the crappy phone system (3 or 4 rooms to a line) i picked up the phone and happened to find on the other line a girl looking for someone else. we ended up talking because she had a sexy voice (for me that was a bit of a rasp and a southern accent). We agreed to meet that night at one of the bars downtown. I got there early with my friends and was totally gone by the time our 11pm meeting rolled around. I told her what i was wearing so she approached me in the bar and said "Hi Bill....i'm Denise." to which i drunkenly responded "Hi Denise .....boy....you sure didn't sound fat on the phone!!!!" That is a quote I'm still reminded of to this day by people that were there 20 years ago!!!

I don't think QT stinks but i do believe he's vastly overrated. i still remember watching Pulp Fiction and looking at my friends (who told me i needed to see it) and thinking "What the #$%&$ are you talking about???? i want my two hours back!!!!"

Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis have sex ok....it's not the name of the movie (Black Swan) and it's described as ecstasy-induced hungry aggressive angry sex so does a story surrounding it make a difference?????????
  11. In college...i had a friend who went to California on her spring break and when she got back told me she was on the Price is Right and she won a car!!!!! Granted.....looking back it was the late 80's and if i recall correctly it was only a Yugo but still.....she won a car!!!! I remember about three weeks later sitting in her dorm room watching her win the car. Of course...we had to give her crap cause she could barely get the big wheel around even once and even then lost to a guy who only had a .50 total

Eliminated with pocket A's. so sad....i would have loved to hear his rant after that one.
  17. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 11, 2009 -> 05:01 AM) Alot of people despise him with a passion. But those same people I'll tell you also respect the hell outta him. I love Hellmuth. 18. "Sometimes, you get what you expect. Generally, you meet better people at church than you do at a strip club." CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill., July 9 (UPI) -- Police say a 50-year-old man should not have become close to a woman he met in a strip club in Chicago Heights, Ill., given she allegedly stole from him. Police said the unidentified man from Park Forest, Ill., originally met Rachel Klootwyk, 38, in a strip club and soon learned of her alleged health and financial problems, the SouthtownStar reported Thursday. After the man started helping out his strip club friend by paying some of her bills, Klootwyk allegedly learned his bank account information and began using his funds as her own. Park Forest Police Chief Tom Fleming told the SouthtownStar the man alerted police after learning of $3,700 worth of unauthorized account withdrawals. "These are tough economic times for everyone, including bad guys," Fleming said regarding the felony financial identity theft charge against Klootwyk. Link
  19. Could be best move ever....or the worst..... Golden, CO – The Coors Brewing Company announced today that they will soon begin offering Coors Light in a new “shotgunnable can” that will feature a second tab on its side to allow for easy shotgunning. Coors is aiming to rid binge drinkers of the tedious burden of searching for the air pocket in a can of beer before it’s punctured, as well as eliminate the possibility of a punctured beer spraying out all its beer before it can be shotgunned. With the innovation, Coors is aiming to rid binge drinkers of the tedious burden of searching for the air pocket in a can of beer before it’s punctured, as well as eliminate the possibility of a punctured beer spraying out all its beer before it can be shotgunned. The can is expected to have a large impact on the canned beer market and is one of the first large-scale attempts to court binge drinkers, who spend hundreds of millions of dollars on cheap beer every year. “While our current wide-mouth vented can does allow the beer leave the can more quickly and create a smooth, refreshing pour, it doesn’t seem to satisfy the customer that prefers to have the beer shot down his throat.” said Coors Brewing Company CEO Peter Swinburn. “That’s why we’ve created this new can. When used in cooperation with the traditional tab located at the top of the can, the shotgunnable can will completely empty its contents in a matter of seconds.” When asked by a reporter if the can was magic, Swinburn just chuckled and said, “No, it’s mostly just gravity and pressure change and I can’t even begin to tell you how much it means to me that this happened under my watch here at Coors.” While Coors had been criticized in the past for cheap gimmicks like having a frost brewed liner and a wide-mouth vented can, reception for the shotgunnable can has been overwhelmingly positive and binge drinkers around the country have been raving at its practicality. Steve Tucker, who is national president of the Omicron Iota Upsilon fraternity noted, “It’s about time a beer company listened to the concerns of its customers and crafted a product specifically intended to resolve any complaints they may have.” Tucker also preordered 1,500 cases of the Coors Light with shotgunnable cans so that he can distribute them amongst its chapters around the country. After placing the order, he seemed to be fighting back tears as he added, “If there’s canned beer in heaven, it’s definitely served in shotgunnable cans.” Link

  21. not that i'm complaining but this smells like a bit of desperation..... PANETTIERE TO GO GAY IN HEROES HAYDEN PANETTIERE is preparing for girl-on-girl love scenes in the next series of HEROES - her character will reportedly enjoy a smooch with her college roommate. The 19-year-old actress plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in the hit U.S. show and TV bosses are considering working a lesbian storyline into the upcoming fourth season. A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "It's just girlie fun at first. But it might progress into something more serious. It depends on how viewers respond."
  22. I don't know if anyone else here is a fan of America's Got Talent but I think the show is a good summertime show. Like American Idol...it's got people that do have talent and they do show the people that don't as well. The one thing about this show that absolutely drives me up the freakin' wall is when they do have a good/great act on stage...the director spends so much time doing all these camera cuts that you wind up missing two thirds of the act!!! you know...if there is a good dance group on...i don't need to have 3 cuts backstage to the host Nick Cannon making some stupid pun. Nick Cannon....count your lucky stars you can go home and bang Mariah Carey and STFU. I guess i understand you need a reaction shot or two from the judges but come on....let me see the performer
