  2. QUOTE (Shadows @ Jan 6, 2009 -> 09:56 AM) Also, I was looking at wrestlezone and they had a stat from 2008 with win/loss records and percentages.. I don't know if this is going to be surprising or not, but Triple H went 125-20 in 2008 Heck yea I'm surprised by Trip's record........surprised he let himself lose 20 times last year
  3. Glad everything turned out ok..... Recently, Stevie Richards suffered a collapsed lung that resulted when doctors were trying to diagnose a lung infection causing him to have a chest tube inserted for several days. He was back in the gym after two days and is scheduled to appear for NWA No Limits on 1-9-09.

I just saw 'A Fish Called Wanda' for the first time in at least 10 years. I'm surprised how the comedy in that film has held up over the years. It had me laughing out loud.
  5. Now that Scrubs is coming to an end....i was thinking about which secondary (or third-ary) characters I'd like to see show up. My top three would be..... 1. Hooch (Hooch is crazy) 2. Gift Shop Girl (I know she's busy on Chuck) 3. Franklin (Maybe they can work in a Heroes reference for him..a line like "What do you want me to do??? I can't go back in time you know!) **TCW would be nice to see too
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 2, 2009 -> 05:35 PM) Scrubs starts next week... after that the only thing that needs to be said is LOST! Burn Notice starts again later this month
  7. I like the queen of the jungle outfit Elliot is wearing in the commercial....
  8. The Animal....he GAWN (at least for a while) PWInsider.com is reporting that Raw star Batista will be out of action from anywhere between 6 and 8 months. As seen tonight on Raw, Batista was forced to forefeit his match against Randy Orton as he was selling the kick to the head he received from Orton last week, and it looks as if this will be the basis of an angle that will see The Animal out of the ring for quite some time. Batista has been reportedly suffering from hamsting problems which began on WWE's last European tour and have worsened since returning to the states. He will be undergoing surgery soon which will require him to be out of action well beyond Wrestlemania.
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 23, 2008 -> 04:18 AM) Jim Cramer needs to be fired, man. Why do people listen to him? I don't care if he gets you ratings, the man is probably hurting people's lives. "SEARS is great man, go buy sears!" "The subprime mortgage crisis is a load of hooey" "Don't move your money out of bear stearns!" (when market is at 8300) "Get all your money out now, get it all out" Unbelievable. edit: also, Foreign Policy probably should've added a bloop of their own too...ha I don't watch Cramer but there are a couple of clips on Youtube that compare his rants from one week to the next and clearly shoe the contradictory nature of his statements. Heck...he might as well go start guessing the weather too.
  10. QUOTE (shipps @ Dec 19, 2008 -> 04:59 PM) All those girls are cougars now,my interest has moved on to the up and comers. Eliza Dushku is 28 Sarah Michelle Gellar is 31 not exactly cougar-ish (the others I'll give you...not that there is anythign wrong with that)
  11. I'm at work....wife works tonight....one daughter's school canceled...one had late start today
  12. QUOTE (ScottPodRulez22 @ Dec 19, 2008 -> 04:29 AM) Jan 21, 2 hour premiere for Lost Yeah...i think that was Heroes i was thinking of....
  13. Wish List-- --Elizabeth Hurley --Eliza Dushku --Cathrine Zeta-Jones --Marisa Tomei --Sarah Michelle Gellar Oh wait....sorry...wrong list..
  14. Majel Barrett Roddenberry, Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry's widow and a fixture of nearly every incarnation of the space travel franchise, died on Thursday. She was 76. Roddenberry, who suffered from leukemia, died at home in Bel Air, Calif., according to a spokesperson. Before Star Trek, the Ohio-born actress worked on a range of television shows, including Bonanza and Leave it to Beaver. She was romantically involved with Roddenberry when he launched Star Trek in the mid-1960s. Though he cast her as the USS Enterprise's unnamed first officer in his pilot, she would go on to fame as the secondary character Nurse Chapel in the original series and in subsequent films. The couple married in 1969. Roddenberry reappeared in the revamped Star Trek: The Next Generation as one of its beloved recurring characters: Betazoid ambassador Lwaxana Troi and as the voice of the starship's onboard computer — a job she would also hold on spin-offs Deep Space Nine and Voyager, audio books, animated series, video games as well as on the forthcoming J.J. Abrams prequel film. After her husband's death in 1991, Roddenberry continued his legacy by helping bring to life other TV projects he had been working on, including the television series Earth: Final Conflict and Andromeda. Roddenberry is survived by her son, Eugene Roddenberry Jr.
  15. or if you want to think the other way...she'll be the safest woman in Bolingbrook. Petersen has got to know that if anything happens to her (even if he didn't do it) that he will be the main suspect. He will do all he can to keep her around.

  18. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 06:59 PM) When does it start up again? February after Super Bowl...the 11th maybe?
  19. At least Heroes has gotten around to killing off some characters. They were getting too big castwise to devote enough time to all the characters and storylines. On another note....here's another Lost clip......for me the new season can't come soon enough.

    Whopper Virgins

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 04:41 PM) A nicely cooked Whopper beats up in the Big Mac IMO, but I've found that most BK's in Chicago are really gross. Best Whopper I've ever had: McKarron airport, 2pm, after not eating for 2 days. I don't think most BK's around are gross but i think they always have the slowest workers/lines/drive-thru lanes. It's maddening most times.
  21. Man..it sucks knowing NBC has already decided not to renew 'My Own Worst Enemy'...that show has gotten so much better in the last few weeks. I'm really gonna miss it....
  22. Besides...from what I hear....after being taken into custody they found some pine tar on the shoes....
  23. you know ..other than getting your ass kicked by the Secret Service..what does throwing your shoes accomplish????
